    Thanks Sherlock!

I mean with regards to cex...the value of the phone i have has went down considerably since I sent them it in January but had they not lost my phone and sent it back to me earlier I could have sent it to someone else!

I am not sure if there is anything else you can do really. Have you had a look at their T&C's for when sending items in? Maybe there is something in there you can have them on? They should at least give you the RM SD money back

I have only ever dealt with the shops. And they have passed all my phones.

That really is awful though what's happened to you op.

If the item has been lost, can't you claim back the cost of the phone from Royal Mail.

What does the track and trace say when you put the tracking number in?

Cheers for the input guys. I see nothing in their t&c's aswell omen.

I'm just really annoyed and disappointed with cex, wish there was a shop near me!

It seems to me that they initially "misplaced" or lost my phone, mysteriously found it after 2 and a half months, recieved my letter of complaint made up an excuse about being damaged and just sent it back. Now i won't get close to the value I would have 3 months ago!

I also have noticed a few marks on the top of the phone that weren't there when I sent it but I can't prove if this was during transit or cex.

Do you have any advice kestrel :) ?

Hi deek, The letter you sent has resulted in your phone being returned - luckily undamaged. I think trying to pursue CEX for postage costs, marks on the phone and decrease in value due to the time factor is a lot of hassle for nothing. I know it must be very frustrating for you but my advice would be to move on and treat it as a valuable lesson. Maybe in future if you still want to deal with CEX you could do it via a third party (ie send your phone/goods to a friend who lives in a town where there is a CEX shop)
