There are no signs telling me to lock my front door, should I stop doing that?
Seriously, why do people need signs to replace common sense?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Presumably given CP know there will be lots of people with buggies, it would be sensible to provide a place to actually secure them to?
Just a thought really, dont think its all OPs fault here!
Why should they build something to secure them to?What do you want poles to chain them to or lockers for god knows how many built?why not just not take the buggy to the pool!!
I can't honestly believe you want to blame someone else for this.
What do you want to do next?Really interested in that. You should be grateful that CP gave you the vouchers as I sure as hell wouldn't have!If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
Having been to Center Parcs once and visted friends another time, the security is usually pretty good.
Coming back last week from being with my sister and her two young girls this sounds to me as a simple case of mistaken buggy....When I was out with my nieces i saw at least two buggies like theirs in just a very small walk so if yours was placed amongst hundreds then it's even more likely that someone will just have been in a hurry and didn't check. She had a baby with her, i hardly think she just strolled into Center Parcs carrying a baby and chose to steal a buggy, and that's if she managed to get past security. Center Parcs is so expensive anyway that i'd be surprised if a fellow guest needed the money...0 -
Awesome!! I'm off to Centre Parks to get robbing and start up my own Push Chair business on eBay!!I'M NOT AS THINK AS YOU DUMB I AM...
Like Gary the No-Trash Cougar says: "Give a larbage, throw out your garbage!" Spread the word!0 -

It's not about fellow guests stealing from you. Thieves will travel to Centre Parcs to steal. It's a bigger problem than you think because CP obviously don't want to highlight any problem and put off customers.

Surprised at that, the ones on the A66 we had to beg security to let us through just to see friends for an hour...0 -
They come in through holes in the fences etc, not through the security points where ordinary people come through. We had our bikes stolen there once, a long time ago. They cut the locks.0

Urmmm what about the 100's of bike racks that you can chain your buggy too?????
I really cant see how this is Centre Parcs fault and I for one would be humbly grateful for the £60!!!!!0 -
For goodness sake, what a lot of grumpy people you are, heaven forbid that someone should come and ask for some advice, there is no need to be so awful!!
There is nowhere to chain your buggy to at the CP pool I went to, having looked myself, its just not possible. Im not saying CP are liable, I am just saying that unfortunately you need to transport your baby or toddler around, you cant take the buggy into the pool area with you, on lots of buggies (mine included) there isnt a gap in the wheels through which to 'wind' anything. The only thing possible was to leave the buggy outside the pool and hope it didnt go walkabout.
Nobody needs a sign to be told to secure their possessions, but if it isnt possible to secure them and this keeps happening, surely it would be better for everyone if there was a place to secure them to? CP set themselves up as a place you can take your kids to, a little help would probably be appreciated by the many parents with babies and toddlers who do visit.
I wasn't aware that 13 year olds still used buggies............0
