There is a limited amout that the school CAN actually do - though they should have done more that they have already. Definitely report it to the police. It is assault and the school has evidence of it. Ask the police to request the CCTV footage, and try to get a copy of it yourself, just in case anything untoward happens to it.
Even if the police are unable to press charges for some reason, hopefully the bullies will be warned off by their involvement. Don't however, let the police get away with simply warning the bullies - if you have firm evidence you should be able to press charges!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0 -
I agree with getting the police involved. Hope you DD is ok
i was bulllied in school and i wish more had been done to stop it. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Definitely involve the police, nothing less. If you don't now, who knows when it will stop - when DD is dead or brain damaged?
Phone them now and get the police to obtain the footage.0 -
I can only offer the same advice as everyone else but I really hope your daughter is okay, it must be heartbreaking for all of your family.0

Absolutely call the police. That's assault plain and simple. If they're allowed to get away with it, they'll no doubt do the same to her again, and to others.Sigless0

Thank you guys- I'll re-read all of your responses later. Just wanted to very briefly check in to let you know I'm not being rude- but 140 odd high density building blocks have just been left on the drive and they're refusing to move themselves.
I do greatly appreciate the opinions on this xxOnly dead fish go with the flow...0 -

If you are able to ring the police tonight please do, they will give you reference and probably pass it on to the relevant section to contact you tomorrow. Can you get to the school in the morning? Unless the police advise you not to then I would write a firm but polite letter, quoting the police reference, insisting that they retain all the CCTV footage for the day in question.

Absolutely call the police. And do it tonight.
Involve the school in what you are doing - this is assault and is a criminal matter."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0
