Personalised maybe but nothing of substance though eh?
True. They didnt use standard text but it didnt contain any info.
I understand that they prioritise cases on the volume of complaints and the severity. So, at worst, it added one to the complaint count for that company. So, as long as others were complaining, and the numbers building up then action could be taken.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The broker commisison would be around 0.3% of the amount borrowed. So, even if you were successful, that is the amount you would be paid (assuming you paid a fee as well). it would have to be a damned big mortgage to pay more than the £895.
You must be a very skint IFA if you charged 0.3% of the borrowed amount. In my experience I have never come across a commission from the lender to the broker that has been less than 1% and in some cases as much as 5%. Plus a lot of IFAs/brokers also charge the person getting the mortgage a direct fee as well0 -

As you correctly point out, I am an IFA. Like most IFAs I am not a mortgage adviser as well. I do however employ mortgage advisers. In my experience I have never come across a commission from the lender to the broker that has been less than 1% and in some cases as much as 5%.
The days of 1% are long gone.Plus a lot of IFAs/brokers also charge the person getting the mortgage a direct fee as well
Independents by definition have to charge a fee. Non independents are allowed to charge and keep commission.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I am new to this forum and am truly gob-smacked as to the comments people have been making. It has been quoted throughout this forum that CCGB is nothing but a con and a scam and that nothing is being done on behalf of their clients. "Absolute rubbish".
I too signed up with Unfair credit at the start of last year and am delighted to point out that they have secured me just short of £12000 in compensation and damages for the miss-selling of our Kensington mortgage. It has been a long time coming but just goes to show what can be achieved.. I am sure many other people will follow me.
Also like many others I have contacted the Ministry of Justice personally and their licence and registration is sound. I am assured that their business conduct and practices are above board and their are also no issues with the company.
In short people need to "put up or shut up". Stop making pathetic, libellious and unjust accusations against a company that is working as hard as it can with claims and working within your best interests..
Think twice folks!! "Im Proof it Works"!!0 -

Sorry I do not believe you. Unenforceable credit is so unusual that when it occurs it makes the press. The abuse in this area by claims companies was so great that the OFT and the MoJ have issued warnings about it.Also like many others I have contacted the Ministry of Justice personally and their licence and registration is sound.
As if that is any indication that they are sound!!I am assured that their business conduct and practices are above board and their are also no issues with the company.
The MoJ wont know that and the company themselves are not going to say otherwise. So, who assured you?In short people need to "put up or shut up". I'm sorry we say horrible things about a company you probably work for.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. I wonder how much this sad comedian "Ruru TJ" was paid to clean up Unfair Credit Direct's name, Credit Compensation GB is run and managed by the same bandits that ran Unfair Credit Direct, and guise what from the same building too, the cheek of it !!! Not only did they embezzle millions of pounds out of gullible people, but they robbed the unwitting agents who were not even paid for their hard work, they too were sucked into this shameless shambles of a company, Unfair Credit Direct, also known as Bye Bye Credit, was in fact the trading name of Individual Credit Solutions Limited, even there solicitors in Brighton, deserted this sinking ship when they realised it's crew was corrupt, I also believe that at least one of UCD's directors is in prison for his part in this shameful scam !!!
I personally have not lost any money, but I know hundreds that have, and that's just the tip of this enormous iceberg ?!?0 -
If you have paid money to any CMC with regard to consumer credit act (loans & credit cards) you would have lost this, as there were two High Court rulings in Dec 2010 andJan 2011 handed down to clarify the law in this area and, unfortunately the ruling did not bode well for the consumer. Therefore, all but a small percentage of CMCs have completely dropped all CCA claims.
Further, the MOJ have struck off CMC companies for non-compliance during the above period.
There are honest and above board CMCs still out there, but not for any issue to do with CCA. We are one such company, if any of you would like to have your case reviewed, with a reply as to how the law effects it today, we are more than willing to provide this to you FREE of any charge. However, that said, it is 99.99% likely that your case will have no legal merit as to having the amount borrowed wiped off (or any amount refunded), but at least we would be able to assist you in explaining the legal position pertaining to your case personally. As the law is still complex, we are prepared to do this for you FREE of charge, for reason of trying to bring confidence back from the public to CMCs.

This company is now in liquidation but several clients have been referred to Ashton Fox solicitors (my brother is one of them) via a Leicester company called Abacus Reclaims.Sorry I do not believe you.
