London agencies do this - they HAVE to.

    Why?

There's tube stations all over the city, overground trains, buses, taxi cabs, private hire cars...... the well-heeled will have their drivers......why don't viewers find their own way to viewings?

Basically, it is quicker and the EA has you captive if you are in their car. :D

Most viewings are accompanied and they take you on 3 or 4 at once.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Maybe he's suggesting it's time for every day at the agency to be casual dress day..... (polo shirt/chinos for the gents, not sure what for the ladies)

What I'm saying is that if everyone is dressed to the nines, sparkling mineral water all over the place, chrome, glass, designer chairs and a hard sell I'm less likely to relax than if staff are just themselves; an open-necked shirt isn't a deal-breaker. IMO you can be professional without being in a suit.

I won't say anymore lest I offend all the estate agents. But, we were asked for our dream agencies and those are my thoughts.

If you are really keen to maintain performance over the long-term, it would be worth revisiting the brand values every so often. This would remind everyone what is key to good service and to check whether they are still behaving in a manner consistent with the stated aims.

ETA: Of course, the effectiveness of this depends on having strong, clearly-stated brand values in the first place.

I'm paranoid about my suit now......i've taken off my jacket and rolled up my sleeves, do you think it's too much if I take off my heels? ;):rotfl:
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)
    Ignore......check!

They look so comfy, I might even wear them on Valuations to stop my heels ruining wooden flooring :p
