no i don't have anything i didn't want to mess it up even more than it was i was going to ask if the AVG one was easy to put on?

AVG is easy, self installs more or less

I have found my way to the msconfig bit box Office and VTAgent reboot are right at the bottom written slightly different their location is listed as common startup - are these the ones to untick.
Also if i delete the folder with my e-mails in will that delete them from my OE inbox as well because i do need most of them
I haven't uninstalled Office should that be my next job or should i do the AVGi'm living in a parallel universe0 -
those are the ones to untick,
leave the emails alone, we will sort that out later

right thought i'd done it - restarted but they still came up - closed them and message underneath said " you have used system config to make changes.....it was in diagnostic or selective mode .... close normal startup on general tab and undo the changes made using system config utility " now what do i do is it back into misconfig or is the general tab somewhere else?i'm living in a parallel universe0

thought the office one might stop the notepad error but neither of them are ultra important to remove
try uninstalling Office then reoobt againEx forum ambassador

Did all that - unistalled office using add/remove in control panel - restarted and its all still there - no difference - should i try System restore again and go back to before we installed Office?i'm living in a parallel universe0
