  • I have found my way to the msconfig bit box Office and VTAgent reboot are right at the bottom written slightly different their location is listed as common startup - are these the ones to untick.

Also if i delete the folder with my e-mails in will that delete them from my OE inbox as well because i do need most of them

I haven't uninstalled Office should that be my next job or should i do the AVG

those are the ones to untick,

leave the emails alone, we will sort that out later

we can do AVG last, uninstall OFfice as I think thats causing some of your errors

  • right thought i'd done it - restarted but they still came up - closed them and message underneath said " you have used system config to make changes.....it was in diagnostic or selective mode .... close normal startup on general tab and undo the changes made using system config utility " now what do i do is it back into misconfig or is the general tab somewhere else?

Check the Don't show this message box, click OK

thought the office one might stop the notepad error but neither of them are ultra important to remove

try uninstalling Office then reoobt again
