Something like may contain other nuts or traces of other nuts would have been more appropriate, I believe some people are allergic to certain nuts but not others (never had that problem so not an expert on nuts allergies) but most factories handling nuts handle them all.If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.

Grown for flavour!! As opposed to being grown for their tasteless bland appeal/0

Regarding the nut thing a statement I noticed on my packet of fox's crinkles Not suitable for nut allergy sufferers.(no nuts in the ingredients) Hurrah, a warning with some common sense
I don't like the spurious health claims of some products although i think the 90% fat free ones finally got canned by food standards ( I remember that being on a bar of turkish delight despite the 200 calories in the tiny bar):heart2:Got Married 1st may '10!:heart2:
Our Money Saving wedding was the best day of our lives!!

I watch Aldo Zilli and his advert proclaiming that the Oat cereal he is promoting MAY protect you from high cholesterol.
I see skin care adverts on the telly and in magazines saying that using this CAN give you 'younger looking skin...' Note that they say 'CAN',not DOES...)
Advertising is very clever.0 -
i can live without crisps, the only time ive eaten them in the last 6 months is the free packet i got after running a marathon! its the same with all junk foods, chocolate, sweets, any junk i eat gets in the way of eating proper food. once you start eating healthy then you start to realise you dont need the rubbish.0

"Chocolate flavour" (big in Israel), basically means "Doesn't contain chocolate.".
Almost anything stating "Only x% fat!!!" Check out the regular ones, most of them are basically the same.
Best, find, ever. Kellogs Special K contain more fat, and more calories (though it's close) than plain old cornflakes.

Next time you're in the supermarket, have a look at the yellow boxes of Happy Eggs. There's a warning inside the box.
Its says...
..........allergy advice: contains egg.
(Martin, I really needed the rollyeye smiley for that one!)

On the lastest Morrisons supermarket magazine, it proclaims its recipes are 'tried and tested'. Which is good to know, since you wouldn't expect the author to take a random bunch of ingredients, mix 'em together and cook for however long he felt like.0

"100% natural ingredients"
I wonder what unnatural ingredients would be !! :eek:0 -

Artificial additives such as aspartame and MSG possibly.
You can make rat poison with only natural ingredients so the 100% natural ingredients does not prove the product is good for you.If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
