  • munchki - I am no expert so please dont take what I say as having any truth in it at all !

I am a little concerned about your housing issue. You told me you owned a house. You said your ex got it when you separated. You also said you havent signed the divorce papers yet. I am not sure you will qualify as homeless or be entitled to any housing help. You have actively walked away from a property. Or you have a property in your name. Or you may have assigned it over to him legally but for no financial gain and they may find this strange and want proof.

I hope this rambling makes sense. And I sincerely hope someone who knows more about this can come along and tell me I am talking rubbish because I so want to be wrong.

I am really wishing I hadnt put mascara on after doing my face mask as it is now running down my face while watching married single other. I can't imagine what it must be like to go through what this family are.

thing is Mambury I've spent a lot of time in negative and it took me to some not very nice places. I am lucky that I came out undamaged (I don't mean drugs and stuff - more relationships etc) I am by no means pollyanna just determined to find different path and stay with it.

edit ; have to say that some of those not very nice places were also the source of some of my funnier stories and memories too - just wouldn't want to go there again
Agree - have found myself having less and less patience with negativity and just want to promote positivity in my life now. I love the stuff you put earlier about taking control of your emotions - I've learned some techniques for keeping away the depression over time but like you often forget to use it, it's hard to get out of the negativity habit!

Em, that made me smile, thank you!
2cats, so sorry about your cat, glad she seemed at peace :)
Cagne, like the idea and would be happy to participate but I had trouble selling Avon so, I dunno, mind you with the support and advice evryone gives on here I feel a bit more confident than I used to! But think it's really good and everyone would have something to do...we're great, us :D
I'm soooo tired so I might not be making much sense. Off to bed...oh and love the 'a day without a merkin', Munchki, was chuckling away to myself lol! Night night and best wishes to anyone I've missed :) xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
  • me too - I am petrified of that whole scenario and having to make death tapes for the kids. I have death letters in the safe in case of car accidents etc.. Is that strange? Seemed normal until I wrote it down in a public domain !!

LOL Elly - still haven't got half way down the glass!!
Joey - I think I've seen the kit you mean but not managed to work out the sort of paint. think I'd be tempted to try out acrylic or the sort you make window clings from. The wire seems to be in a mold and you paint in the middle and let it spread out to the wire edges - is that right. and then leave for a few hours before removing from mold. then the paint appears stretched across the wire petals.
Other more crafty people may know what sort of paint is more likely to achieve this.

    & welcome back Saucy.

I've just sold another cd on amazon (waiting for payment from ebid and priceminster).

Just caught up with this thread - clicked on the link to WAHM's selling site and they've got something listed on their front page that's even worse than a merkin  (the product itself's ok but the name's disgusting in that context).
