MMTWGR not weird really. no different than making a will. just part of what you want to leave.

Though it took me a while to work out what you were talking about but guessing same programme as babymo and her mascara!“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Not strange at all. I have been making death letters since I was 5 years old, every time I have to have an operation I'm scared I wont wake up so I write letters the night before and leave them on my pillow. Perhaps a little strange but I'm always happier when I know they are done.0 -

LOL Elly - still haven't got half way down the glass!!
Joey - I think I've seen the kit you mean but not managed to work out the sort of paint. think I'd be tempted to try out acrylic or the sort you make window clings from. The wire seems to be in a mold and you paint in the middle and let it spread out to the wire edges - is that right. and then leave for a few hours before removing from mold. then the paint appears stretched across the wire petals.
Other more crafty people may know what sort of paint is more likely to achieve this.

That's the one. The paint is very much like the ones I used as a kid for making window stickers (not sure what they were really called though) but I always bought that in a kit too, so never knew what it was. I'll give acrylic a go. Thanks hon.:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -

2cats - so very sorry about your poor cat. It's a horrible thing to lose a cat especially when it's been around so long. It's bad enough when you've only had them a short time.
This is a really lovely poem I found, hope it makes you smile x
Oh what unhappy twist of fate
Has brought you homeless to my gate,
The gate where once another stood
To beg for shelter warmth and food?
For from that day I ceased to be
The master of my destiny,
While she, with purr and velvet paw
Became within my house the law.
She scratched the furniture and shed
And claimed the middle of my bed,
She ruled in arrogance and pride
And broke my heart the day she died.
So if you really think, oh cat
I'd willingly relive all that,
Because you come forlorn and thin
Well don't just stand there - come on in!:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -

The proofreader is me. Now put a sock (animal) in it, you lot, or I'll be calling you the Smirkin' Merkins
2cats, so sad for you. My cat in the UK had to be PTS on Christmas Eve, my ex is still cut up about it. In a sense I said goodbye to her when I left, so although it's hard it's probably worse for him as she was with him every day and now she isn't.0
