Joey, you are the cat person around here, IIRC. Will my girls take to using a litter tray easily if they haven't had one since they were kittens?

Aww 2cats, hope you get your cat back safely tomorrow.

Babymoo, you can't keep anything tidy when the house is being decorated, my house is a tip this weekend as we've been decorating.

2cats, if your mog isn't microchipped I'd get her done ASAP, that would give you some reassurance. As for the litter trays, I think you're supposed to do something like putting the tray outdoors and gradually bringing it nearer the house ... any better advice, Joey?

Babymoo, you said something on the other thread about does anyone else wonder why they bother? Oh, yes ... too often.

She's mostly been using a patch of gravel outside the back door, so I thought of putting some of the gravel in with the litter for a bit so it smelt "right" for doing business in (sorry TMI!). Does that sound feasible? Just hope I get her back ok or this is academic really.

Just had the lady who found her round with the direct phone number for the cat unit, so hopefully I can get straight through with no faffing round switchboards and being passed from person to person tomorrow.

2cats, try this article - step 5b is particularly relevant.
