  • Elly - well done, my brother used to do that to me, til I told him to bog off because the running total of what he borrowed was over £500, he still loves me, he just knows that I am not a constant source of money, downside is he now thinks I am an oncall free babysitter/childminder! Ah well, you win some, you loose some!

Hope everything works out for you Evenstar xx

Right, kitten number 1 gone, £30 in the pot, total listed now 49 items, can't open the fridge because OH bought home some herring for the cats and I forgot to cook it, my god the smell coming from there is bad! SO better start on the cleaning, migh tneed to wipe down the sofa as well, DD1 is trying to feed herself a yoghurt and apparently "I've finished making a mess Mummy", lovely

I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!
  • Elly - I'll get there one day, I'll get to spend my own money :) I did the same with a washing machine last year but since I still live at home it was either that or go to the launderette everyday (I go through 3 outfits a day averagely and DS could happily go through everything he owns in a day + towels and bedding, lots of washing) Would have cost me more at the launderette in the end plus I couldn't quite bring myself to go.

Mummyandpaige - I want the gold dress for a fancy dress thing, it's perfect, just need gold body paint :) I'll buy it once we've sorted books out so you can just post it all together, save you a trip to the PO.

So much to do today... Aaaah!
Free day out on Monday though, wherever I wanna go, happy days. So long as my Dad will have DS obviously. Think I'll have to pick something relaxing lol I'll be shattered after work Sat night, farm Sunday, out Sunday Night... I'm going to sleep well Monday Night!
  • ohhh, intriging, sounds good, just going to have a rummage now!

MummyP - bicarb of soda for the fridge to clean and get rid of the smell!! You prob already know that but I am cringing at the thought of te smell - I am not a fish person unless it is pre-battered and frozen!!!!!
Life is a work in progress
  • Thanks nixi, I was going for the high grade dissinfectant, but will raid the cupboard for some bicarb. I HATE fish too, only time it comes in the house f for the cats, unless it is a bass or mussels.

Reminds me off the time when my best mates (EX) fiance went shooting and brought home a pheasant...he put it in the microwave to stop the cat getting at it and then forgot.....my mate very rarerly uses the microwave.....2 weeks later....OMG I have never smelt anything like it in my life, when i got round there she had already bleached and disinfected everywhere but it still stank there were maggots and flies everywhere.
I've been vegetarian for 18 years......she became one after that lol...and dumped the bloke..well a vegetarian and a hunting/shooting farmer dont really mix (he was a !!!!!! anyway...)
  • OH is being a grade A kn0b about it, have filled out the forms and he has written a covering letter to the CSA, but he says he "doesn't have time to sit in an office with a bunch of mugs all day", so he can sod off if he expects me to do it for him. He didn't get a DNA, but DS is the dead spit of him and my DD, so don't really think it is necessary. Did try broach the subject a few years ago, and all I can say is , I won't be doing that again in a hurry!
