Jo, that's lovely, thanks - it is peaceful, it's made me remember she likes ornaments made from soapstone, and I also have one that looks like the willow ones, of a family sitting in a large pair of hands; I got it from a charity shop with the intention of ebaying it, but it might actually be appropriate for this :) ETA just realised it's actually intended for healing and think that one might be just right. We have got time to find somewhere in Hull that might sell them before we see her so thank you :)

    That sounds perfect Paula.
I'm sure she'd appreciate it. it works on the level of you all as family and the church family too but without being specifically religious.
I must go to bed now. DH's birthday tomorrow

  • EBay listing is officially more boring than watching reruns of Peppa Pig 39 down, 570 to go! Don't think I am going to do my commitments this month, may have to roll them over!

Had enough for one night though thing I am going to head to bed, night all xx

Munchki - did you ever hear back about the kitty issue? Will be on MSN tomorrow, promise!

Mustn't forget I have lady coming at 1 to get 1st kitten, brother coming at 11 to get second kitten and lady sat to collect last kitten, gotta love gumtree!

  • It feels so early!
I'm still wide awake, working on my business plan. Am enrolled on a business course in the middle of April, although knowing my luck I'll either chicken out or be too ill to go.
Getting supplies delivered tomorrow which I'm excited for but got a busy day too, whereas today was pretty mundane and I'd have had all day to make things. Always the way!

39 Ebay listings is pretty impressive, I don't think I've ever listed that many!
    Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:
  • Sods law, saucy, and for the next week everything will get in the way of being creative, that is life!

Have listed 1 out of the 11 boxes of clothes, doesn't sound impressive when I say it that way! Also listed 7 boxes of books, again sounds impressive until I say only 43 more to go! Think I am going to spend the next month just listing, but at least they are selling......slowly!

Don't stay up too late! Night xx

  • Whew, only just caught up with the thread after a busy but interesting evening!

Hello to everyone, but special mentions ~

Nikki, glad your interview went well, will be keeping fingers crossed for you!

Mabel, fantastic to see Mildred and her Merkin at last!!! I agree with everything said before about the colour situation, but I see you're on to that with a spray tan sorted!

Mummy&Paige, huge huge hugs honey. I can feel your frustration and it's just so wrong when life throws you so many curve balls. Again I echo what has gone before, CAB are great people and will give you the absolute best advice. It wouldn't do any harm either to check out other MSE forums, perhaps on the Debt board, or I'm sure there's bound to be a CSA thread kicking around ~ what I am certain of is that you probably aren't the only one in this situation, so do have a look and see what advice is right here courtesy of the lovely Martin.

I've spent most of the evening blethering with my brother and doing little else but check out the window frequently to see just how deep the still falling snow is... I HATE snow! Not a happy bunny, not at all.
