Evening everyone,
Don't know if this is of interest to anyone but we have just added a online classifieds section to our internal intranet at work. It's completely free to post on and the categories are for sale, wanted, recomendations and advice, freecycle and something else which I can't remember right now.
We have around 700 staff in newcastle who can access/view it not including our other offices in Manchester and London (approx 500 staff in total).
For me, I will be listing everything I'm going to put on ebay on there first as I can take things into the office and make my sales there. If it doesn't sell, then I'll consider eBay but for free it has to be worth a try.
For any of you, if you would like me to put on a listing advertising your folksy/etsy/website/services etc just pm me with what you would like it to say and I'll add the ad. simples.
It might not generate anything other than webviews but we'll never know unless we try. there's no limit to words or anything like that and I can add images if they are hosted on photobucket.
Just thought it might help someone.
I'm off for tonight but I'll be back tomorrow if anyone has any questions etc.Would like to: Retire at 54. 19yrs .Clear mortgage by 50. 16yrs. There was a woman who lived not far from me who made a sculpture in her garden from junk mail. You know the old sort of spike in a block thing to hold letters on, well she made a huge one for her garden and put every bit of junk mail on it for a year, it got all the local news and radio stations talking about it. I'll try and hunt it out it has to be on the internet somewhere.Would like to: Retire at 54. 19yrs .Clear mortgage by 50. 16yrs. Clear Secured debts by 43. 8yrs.Clear Unsecured debt by 39. 4yrs. maybe for sale in your local shops too?“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
