Damage the matrix (under the cuticle) enough and they will stop growing. Wouldn't advise it though, painful :rotfl:. I suppose though, pain is beauty and all that.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Toots - I love love love the bunny, am I a friend?
ok, after today, I can officially top the post office queue discussions, I am absolutely horrified, as were the others that overheard it, not even sure I can repeat it. The gist was, after seeing the post supplies section, bloke in front commented to the bloke in front of him "Bloody rip off courtesy of her majesty, got her finger in every pie.....just like Bin Laden, can just see him fisting her so far up her......" well you can probably guess the rest, mortified isn't really the word. Glad Paige isn't old enough to have the faintest idea what he was on about. Think it was just one of them days as on the way home, just to top of the weird factor, there were 2 70+ year olds sitting on a bench, wait for it......wearing thigh high leather boots, fish nets and flourecent orange coats.

So do my OHs, he is ALWAYS clipping his nails, and then losing the clippers! And we have 8 pairs!!!
I'm scared of nail clippers. Really, really scared of them. And window cleaners...I had a panic attack at work when the window cleaner came once. First day as well. It went well :P Lol
Edit: A machine fell on my dad's foot once and his whole big toe nail fell off. He refused to see a doctor and it went all nasty and black, and now it's all curled up and black. It's been years now. It's horrible.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

I am so p1ssed off I can barely type
The make up I had listed on ebay sold as a BIN for £500. This as I said earlier made me a tidy profit of £220.
What I hadn't banked on though is that I had the "post to worldwide" box ticked and the costs as £7.50.
Well the buyer lives in Switzerland as luck would have it and to save hassle I took it to the post office to see how much it will cost me as I dont mind swallowing some of the postage costs from the £220 profit.
They quoted me £46 plus insurance!!!!! (robbing b!rstards)
So I have emailed the buyer explaining my mistake, and that I will refund her etc etc but I cant do a straight refund because I already withdrew the £500 from my paypal account and it is somewhere between my paypal account and my bank account!
I am so cross with myself!Virtual sealed pot challenge 2010 member #48~ £72.62:)£10,000 in 2010~ £1177.36/£10,000:DMember of Team CBFM

sheloveshimsomuch have you tried somewhere other than the post office. like interparcel or somewhere? may be cheaper.

:eek: I'm sure they used to be 69p or around that!!!
OMG I'm actually having a good day today.
1. I'm now a qualified nail technician and can now do Minx nails (spent £147.00 on the kit but meh.
2. Got an interveiw tomorrow for some local bar work
3. Got an unconditional offer for hairdressing next year
Now I just need a lottery win to seal the deal :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Well done, I do nails as well I have been wanting to do minx for ages but when I finish uni I won't be doing them anymore so it doesn't seem worth the extra cost for the kit and what not and good luck for your interview.sheloveshimsomuch wrote: »I am so p1ssed off I can barely type

I hate ebay some days I'm going to have to vent in a min aswell. Its so annoying when it takes so long to get to your bank from paypal and you need it right away.
So to my ebay vent. I put a bid in for a jewellery thing that ended tuesday, never thought I would win it but I did yay. So I got back last night went to pay for it and theres a message from the lady saying why haven't you paid I am relisting this which was recieved saturday but she also opened an ebay case for none payment. So now I can't resolve the case by paying because she is relisting and when I e-mailed her explaining I had been away and that I was just about to pay before I recieved her rude message did she still want a payment. I got an email back saying its rude to buy something then not pay. Its not even been a week.
On a positive I have made a necklace, a bracelet and a bookmark today. When I work out how to do pictures on here I will show them to you. I'm very proud for a first go

Thankyou, I will give interparcel a look. I tried DHL and UPS but they were both higher than the P.O.
Just got a quote- £43 inc insurance so lower than the P.O but still too much!
Thanks though. Does anyone else know of any cheap couriers?Virtual sealed pot challenge 2010 member #48~ £72.62:)£10,000 in 2010~ £1177.36/£10,000:DMember of Team CBFM
