Thanks all for your thoughts!! I am so confused as to whether refund or send lol, or just sit back and wait for them to contact me.....
Crafty hadn't thought that that might be there way of replying to me, would have thought they would know how to use it though as they have over 340 positive feedbacks. Might just send it and see..... why is nothing easy?

Saucy - when you phone say you need a same day emergency appointment. At my doctors (if thats what I need) when they answer I say 'Hi, I need an emergency appointment for today please." I don't say who I am, or what it is for until they ask when they have offered me an appointment slot. Mind youmost of the time it isn't for me it is for OH, DS or DD anyway! If they refuse state the 48 hour rule. All doctors keep emergency appointments for the same day. I know you need continuity in you treatment but I are you with the right doctors?

Can you take the basic "look" of what you like, get another (much older?) pattern just to give you rough measurements of arms, legs, then look for yet another pattern for clothes, accessories (i.e. vintage dolls clothes patterns) - or have ago at writing your own pattern and using it? If you mix and match bits from all different patterns (time consuming - I know, I'm just about to embark on a similar venture) then no-one can really complain/sue you!
Well, that's what I'm hoping anyway!

I am not sure how true this is, but a legal friend once told me that something has to be 30% different to not breach copyright, as a guideline.
So is it editable, or combinable with a different pattern, by 30%?

Ive made another one of the furry blighters,just waiting for some ribbon rosebuds for one and some fine white ribbon to make the charm attachment bit for the other to come from ebay :-)

Bizarrely I have two ideas for that :eek:

IF you used the edible bracelet type sweets (do youknow the ones I mean?) you could just attach them with a couple of stitches - I can 'imagine' them as a kind of happy 'smile' ....not sure I have explaine dthat well. That way you are limited by shapes but think you could do a 'smile', cross etc

Second idea is - cake bakers use edible glue to attach icing flowers etc to cakes. I have no idea if it would be strong enough but could be worth a try......

I REALLY cannot believe I am suggesting this, let alone discussing it on an open forum!!! :eek::rotfl:

Awww thats a shame about the lamb Toots and that other one is sweet as well, I'm sure you would be able to come up with something yourself just as good...and then you can sell the pattern and make your 10k...sorted!!

Those sweets hurt my teeth now. I don't eat them, cuz last time I did, half broke and flicked up and hit me in the eye. Ow!

Does anyone remember those 'Nerd' sweets? Where you'd get two flavours? I think they were orange and green...

When I was 10, I was looking after little sisters, 8 months and 3 at the time. Someone gave 3 year old some, and she managed to get one stuck right at the top of her nose. Managed to get us on a bus and to the hospital (god knows where my parents were, my dad worked but my mum just disappeared for weeks at a time) but we got a foreign doctor, and it took HOURS to try and explain to him what a nerd was, and why it was up her nose.

Took them four hours to get it out too, some poor nurse had to sit massaging her nostril.

Edit: That's another completely irrelevant fact about me :rotfl:
