I absolutely hate paying off debt with completely arrogant idiots who do not listen to reason or the case history!

However I must celebrate as I am currently 7.67% into my debtbusting and am proud of that.

Now to finish a book and then send some begging to some proofreaders on here. My 10k is for my creditors to tell them to go and swivel - and if it seams I hate them - I DO with a passion.

I am in a situation where I am working to get out of debt - a situation I was stupid enough to get myself into through having no self control. However self hatrid is never productive - so I choose to use the debt as what I hate - and its representatives are the dca's and creditors.

Sorry guys - needed to vent or it will show in my writing

Just finished my accounts realised that I have made my first £1000!!!:j
It's just a shame that I agreed (well bragged) to my OH that I would make enough in this challenge to pay for our holiday:mad:.

He was insistent at the start of this challenge that I should keep the money and just carry on reinvesting to make more money but I was all "no no we can pay for the holiday with it". I so wish I hadn't now!:rotfl:

Ok peeps, I need some advice!

I am listing ALOT of card, envelopes and inserts on ebay that I have left from my craftier days and I have split it into packs of 10 of each. I managed to list a pack I hadn't got - A5 card, inserts and envelopes and I don't have the envelopes. I only discovered this after someone had bid, won and paid (only 99p!). It took them a over week to pay - but that didn't bother me, but as I only discovered it after they had paid when I sent them a message appologising and explaining the situation asking if they wanted the card and inserts without the envelopes or a refund I did not expect a quick response. Anyway that was over a week ago, I logged on today to check if they had replied and instead they have left me postivie feedback saying 'Great Thanks'. I still have the item as waiting to be posted in my ebay.

I'm not sure what to do next....... any thoughts?

  • Right, been out for a bit of fresh air, a walk and to buy lunch as tesco's havent turned up yet and I was starving (meal planning is great at saving money / losing weight - but when your delivery is late its a pain as you have nothing left to eat!

Well I could have had a tin of tomatos, a moldy slice of bread and some peas - but I didnt really fancy that! So I went and bought a portion of chips (with free batter scraps - YUMMY) and got myself a clearer head. I see it as an investment as I shouldnt be so grumpy this afternoon (apologies for the rant before - should be a good thing im paying debt off) and hopefully get more people to pay me what they owe!

Also what is the going rate to pay for proofreading?

  • Hi everyone.
Woke up at 8am to try and get a doctors appointment, they didn't even open til 20 minutes later (tut tut) but guess what? There is still none free. I doubt anyone phoned before me, let alone enough people to fill the list. Grrrrr.

So will have to try again tomorrow. Shopping is coming at 8pm, ish, and OH is out for a few hours, so I should do something business like. I just have no idea what!

do both!! say half for the holiday and half to reinvest.... then you are both happy. I dare say you will need a holiday after all this money making!!
