Saucy, surely there must be emergency appointments you can get? At our surgery they hold back a certain number for people who really need to be seen that same day.

In any event the government target is that everyone been seen within 48 hours and I have been known to use this at our surgery. When they told me I couldn't be seen for nearly a fortnight I asked how that fitted with the government targets and they miraculously found me an appointment for the following day!

Nice to hear from you Babymoo, hugs for you and Saucy :-)

Nixi-hmmm difficult..I would just wait and see if she's going to reply, you've sent her an email so theres nothing really you can do-I suppose you could just refund her? ummm thats no help! If it was me I'd probably refund her but then i'm often just too nice for my own good lol
  • 2Cats, I might try that. Thank you :)

I think that if I was a stronger person, I would be able to cope better. But I'm not. I always thought I was okay but OH agreed last night that I lack confidence badly, and he worries about me. Hmmm. Something else to add to the list?!

Nixi, uh..You could do a partial refund and send, although only 15/20p I'd guess, or just send, or just refund. Hmmm, I don't know what I'd do.

I'm in a hmmy mood and Puppy has come for cuddles :) He cheers me up, I hate being away from him. He's very cute at the moment.

  • [irrational rant mode]
I absolutely hate paying off debt with completely arrogant idiots who do not listen to reason or the case history!

However I must celebrate as I am currently 7.67% into my debtbusting and am proud of that.

Now to finish a book and then send some begging to some proofreaders on here. My 10k is for my creditors to tell them to go and swivel - and if it seams I hate them - I DO with a passion.

I am in a situation where I am working to get out of debt - a situation I was stupid enough to get myself into through having no self control. However self hatrid is never productive - so I choose to use the debt as what I hate - and its representatives are the dca's and creditors.

Sorry guys - needed to vent or it will show in my writing

Well done with eating into the debt!! don't worry about ranting, we all do it and it's cathartic!
Grrrr Amber- how frustrating for you ((((hugs))))

Just finished my accounts realised that I have made my first £1000!!!:j
It's just a shame that I agreed (well bragged) to my OH that I would make enough in this challenge to pay for our holiday:mad:.

He was insistent at the start of this challenge that I should keep the money and just carry on reinvesting to make more money but I was all "no no we can pay for the holiday with it". I so wish I hadn't now!:rotfl:

Wooohooo well done!! :T I agree with Mambury, and split it 2 ways, then everyone wins!

Ok peeps, I need some advice!

I am listing ALOT of card, envelopes and inserts on ebay that I have left from my craftier days and I have split it into packs of 10 of each. I managed to list a pack I hadn't got - A5 card, inserts and envelopes and I don't have the envelopes. I only discovered this after someone had bid, won and paid (only 99p!). It took them a over week to pay - but that didn't bother me, but as I only discovered it after they had paid when I sent them a message appologising and explaining the situation asking if they wanted the card and inserts without the envelopes or a refund I did not expect a quick response. Anyway that was over a week ago, I logged on today to check if they had replied and instead they have left me postivie feedback saying 'Great Thanks'. I still have the item as waiting to be posted in my ebay.

I'm not sure what to do next....... any thoughts?

To me that suggests they don't know how to use eBay (!) and have left feedback to say yes, great thanks, instead of replying to your email. I'd send it on the way it is if I were in your position. Do buyers have the ability to alter feedback at any point?

Hi Babymoo, nice to see you back, hope you're ok hun.

Saucy, thanks for your comments last night re charging for my time and materials, much appreciated.

Amber, that sucks honey, their loss but it sounds like a blow to your plans. Why not approach them and ask for another test? They can only say no..... or yes!

Well I've been and bought tons of wool :D as I have decided there's no point in playing around with my site or blog until I actually have more physical items done, so that's my plan for this week, hook hook hook. Got word back from two pattern designers today, one has said no to selling (pity because I love love love her design, but will do that one for 'friends & family' only ;)) and the other has said YES! :j So no excuses, if I'm on here too much, boot me off, I can't type and hook at the same time!!

Well done sheloveshimtoomuch, that's fab news.

Welcome back babymoo, hope the laptop is fixed for you soon.

I've decided to have a big promotion on my jewellery this week. I have too many ideas and need cash and space to make and sell more, so it's Buy one get one half price on all jewellery in my shop until Friday if anyone needs any gifts.

Shameless plug but if you don't shove yourself out there no one else will lol

Just thinking about the munchable merkins.....what would you use to stick them on with coz it would have to be edible.....?

Ok end of thinking about that.

Ive made another one of the furry blighters, just waiting for some ribbon rosebuds for one and some fine white ribbon to make the charm attachment bit for the other to come from ebay :-)
  • The pattern designer for the wee lambie I did hasn't had the courtesy of replying unfortunately, which I presume I must take as no, you're not getting permission. I then found an incredible designer and fell madly in love with this:

and although she was really lovely about it, she doesn't allow selling of finished items. So this would have to be a friends and family exercise.

Aw that is so cute - shame you can't sell them. How about designing your own - with doing so many you must have a shrewd idea of how the bits should look. Even if you found a few cartoon animals on the web and sketched out a couple of ideas? Then maybe you could sell the pattern online too, as well as the finished product.
