not doing very well at keeping up at the moment so sorry if I look like I am ignoring some people and not others.
Nikki sounds like a brilliant day congratulations on all of it.
Laura they look great. I'm not very up on the market for jewellery selling though so others are better to advise.
Elly good news on the order.

So where do I sell them then and how do I get any idea for prices I've never sold anything I've made before

  • You could try Folksy or Etsy, but jewellery is really hard to sell on them as it is so competitive, so you might want to have a look around them first. It only costs 20p to list per item, but if it doesn't sell, you don't get the 20p back.
I don't know about Ebay, lots of traffic but it depends how much you'll be charging, people still see Ebay as cheap.

Are there any local fetes etc near you you could test the market at?

  • Laura - love the jewellery ! With regards to ebay, I dont think there is anything you can do without proof of receipt?

sheloveshimtoomuch - I personally would post it. You never know you might get a customer who will order again. parcelmonkey or payperparcel are cheap alternatives

ermmm not a lot you can do. How long was it that you sent the item? Royal Mail state up to 15 days on some items...

    - was it recorded / special delivery?

If you have no POP then the buyer can always open a INR dispute with Paypal. If they do, they will win as you have no POP.

I would email the seller, explain that if they are happy you would like to wait until next week to see if it turns up. If it still doesn't arrive then you will have to refund. It would be better to refund yourself than wait for the buyer to open a dispute.
