I´ve started contacting publishers directly, but nothing so far. Bidding sites are useless for proofreading as you´re competing with people who´ll work for low rates. I´m a professional, I tell you, and I want professional rates. Grrr and double grrr.
  • Right I have compiled the links list and sent it out to (hopefully) everyone who wanted it. If not PM me and I will send you out a copy.
NIXI: check you got yours will you please? It went funny when I sent it and I'm not sure if you got it or not.

Hi everyone. Yuk, where did summer go? It's bucketing it down here!

Finished work late today, went and did my shopping and managed to spend £70! Aargh! Admittedly I did buy a lot of cat food while it was on offer, but even so! It's a good job I've sold a few bits on ebay this week!

Anyway, I've just finished my tea so am settling down to read the blogs I was intending to read last night. I had a real nightmare with mine as I wanted to put a video on, but my videos are on little DVD discs from my camcorder and I just couldn't get them onto my blog. I opened the windows movie maker programme to try and edit them, and it was just doing the weirdest things. I don't swear very often, but the air was blue! It was jumping through different videos with no sense or reason as to why and I just could not get the bit I wanted onto the blog. I gave up and put pictures on in the end. Was very grumpy

Yes, she saw it at the weekend and is supposed to be getting something ready for me to upload on Wednesday, although I have a feeling she won't. She has a book full of stuff she has written though, so she is under no pressure at the moment :)

ETA ... and she loved it!! She gasped when she saw it and just kept looking at it and shrieking to her mum! It was so worth the hard work :j
