    I am so p1ssed off I can barely type
    The make up I had listed on ebay sold as a BIN for £500. This as I said earlier made me a tidy profit of £220.
    What I hadn't banked on though is that I had the "post to worldwide" box ticked and the costs as £7.50.
    Well the buyer lives in Switzerland as luck would have it and to save hassle I took it to the post office to see how much it will cost me as I dont mind swallowing some of the postage costs from the £220 profit.
    They quoted me £46 plus insurance!!!!! (robbing b!rstards)
    So I have emailed the buyer explaining my mistake, and that I will refund her etc etc but I cant do a straight refund because I already withdrew the £500 from my paypal account and it is somewhere between my paypal account and my bank account!
    I am so cross with myself!
    Don't know if this will help http://www.worldwide-parcelservices.co.uk/
    I sent a 15kg parcel to spain in December & it cost £25.29 but it was only insured for £50. Got picked up Tuesday night from Devon, delivered to my daughter in Spain Friday morning. Had a quick look on the site & for switzerland you have to email for a quote. For Spain they were the cheapest that I could find.
  • Thanks for that! I will give them a look xxx

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

    Em - don't worry have as many outbursts as you want. I didn't watch cos I knew how I would feel. Besides my vote has already been decided. Not happy with any choice really but am a one issue voter for the first time in my life. Had enough of politics for a lifetime.

    good girl... I shan't ask who for in case we start another fall out on the thread!!!

    It does annoy me though that people can't be bothered to vote. The same people then sit and moan about the state of the country....grrr!:mad:

    Right, thats enough political talk for tonight..

    off to bed cos I is tired...
