Poor Mildred, she has no idea what's in store for her. Not really a great career move is it, ending your days as a merkin mannequin ...
Saucy, scrub that, I've had my email re topics.0 -

I think it's DHL?! Mexican was sorting it out for us, I'll have to ask him.
I now have an image of 'Attack of the 50ft Merkin' :rotfl:Would the Mexican like a very personal guided tour of BCN?0 -
Em if you're still reading -hows the duck blog coming along?
Hi Jo - glad your work went wellsounds like it's proving to be good research for your own place. I hope you've got it up and running by the time i have babies so i can come to visit and they can play while i participate in an interesting workshop and eat cake
I've done the first post for the duck blog & drafted the second but need to add some links to it. The first post is really naff and personal stuff about how it came about that we have our ducks and so i wanted to complete the second post which is more factual/ useful before i show it to anyone. It's nice to have it as a project, even though it's coming along very slowly!Just £10,852.28p to go...
Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";

I'll text and ask him, haha. I'm not sure where abouts he is, he was telling me in Spanish so I ignored him, lol.

Think doing the personal stuff is really good though Em - helps people relate to you. and also will be nice to hear how being a "duck keeper" is on a personal level.
Em you will definitely be an honorary customer with your family!! Lots of cake too.

Good, I'm looking forward to the duck blog! And would dearly love to take my children to your cafe, Jo, if I get the chance; it sounds fantasticthink it's a good idea to get experience on ground level, it will give you skills to use at home too I'm betting, I never cooked properly before i learned how to in a residential home!
Munchki, sorry, computer crashed when I was in the middle of telling you I'd deleted some stuff; this laptop's rubbish. Kids all in bed and think I will be soon xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
Am going to include the money from the cafe in this challenge I think - but then maybe its cheating. seem to remember some people were including money from cleaning jobs.
just seems that part of the reason I was doing this challenge was to get myself nearer a position where I could start my long term plan. This means clearing debts and gaining relevant knowledge. so it seems right to include it especially as I probably would not have even gone for it if it wasn't for this thread (well probably the one before last!).

The original rule was that there were no rules and I'm counting anything - mystery shopping (got one next week), Amazon, Ebay (someone please give me a kick to do Ebay tomorrow), cashback...anything really
think you're doing great xxb
