Good. I didn't want to be pushy about it, and am glad you took it the way I meant. Let us know how DD is when she gets home. X

No you were not being pushy at all :D, she is home and there is not a mark on her ( which is good, but typical )she said its sore though, but I keep thinking what if it were a small child, or an elderly person, its just not good enough.

I meant to say as well, when they took us in the room to let her sit down, the woman kept on at me to show her where it had happened, I pointed out to her that you should not leave someone who had had a blow to the head on their own, and she then said its ok I will get one of the blokes to sit with her, and i said that I would not be happy to leave my dd crying with some bloke I did not know, she was so keen to get her form written out that there was no thought at all for dd

Mrs Mix nice to see you posting, and thanks for the link, off to have a look now xxx

Maitane - glad its not just me then! Well done on your job, and good luck recovering from your surgery.

Mood hasn't really improved much, which is a shame as the weather has been lovely and that normally sorts me out. :o

Cat was sick all over her bed, so had to sort that out, cleaned it up and left it outside to air. May be getting a second foster cat, RSPCA phoned this afternoon asking if I could manage another elderly one. Don't see it being a problem, as current old lady barely moves from her bed, plus is deaf, so don't think it will bother her at all. Am waiting for more details.

RedRuby have you a camera???? Take photographs of your daughters face and write down exactly what happened. It will strengthen your case against B & Q. They need to be brought to book, that should never have happened.

We went to the market, the first person we saw was the chap we used to buy our plants from, he is still standing on the market every week. There were less stalls than I remembered, a couple of vegetables, several cothes stalls, the usual donut and burger stands, a couple selling shoes, I found shoes I have been looking for, I will have to go back and get a pair. I bought the original shoes in 2004 in Birmingham......they are almost worn out now and have been searching for ages.

I saw a stall selling baby wear and was interested to see a display of hand knitted baby cardigans and jumpers priced at £5. The stall holder came over to speak to me, I told her I did not want to buy one but could sell her some!! to my surprise she told me to go back to the market next week and take what I have and she will buy them......I almost fell through the floor. I had only really started knitting for something to do when watching TV........baby things knit up quickly.

Just as we were leaving we saw a stand selling mushroom compost, we spoke to the chap and he had bought out our old compost supplier, we have ordered 4 bags of mushroom compost and two bags of farmyard manure, they are going to deliver it for us during the week......

After lunch OH went out to the vegetable garden, I sorted out the supper, roast pork and all the trimmings, I had spent an hour in the morning when we got back putting some plants in the front, not many, but it does look better. The rose I planted earlier in the week is looking ok.......a lot of work still to do, but steady work will eventually see us through. We have decided that one of the beds in the front is going. We will cut down the stuff thats in it and then weed kill it in the autumn we will put down top soil and seed it with grass seed. We will also skim the grass of thee rest in slits and plant daffoldils then put the grass back. So next spring we will have daffodils coming up through the grass.

Having cooked the supper I am jiggered, so watching TV, will be picking up my knitting to watch LRTC in a few minutes

    Evening everyone,

just a quick catchup to say Happy Birthday Flutterby

Redruby - I`m so glad to hear that your DD is ok, hope that you get it all reported and sorted out quickly.

Well i`ve been in the garden all day with DH helping and can hardly move, my back and calves are killing me so goodness knows what i shall feel like tomorrow.

We`ve not even stopped for dinner so the chicken is in the oven and i`ve put a quick curry in the remoska, we shall be having that shortly with a well deserved cold beer or two :D

    Have a relaxing evening peeps.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes :)

I've had a lovely day. Had a family lunch and then dinner with the girls. They got me a digital photo frame which is perfect as I live in a rented flat and can't put up pictures!

I'm rather tired now, so will have a potter round then will read in bed before lights out!

What a weekend  I have hardly had time to fit everything in.
MIL decided to visit this afternoon - right in the middle of decorating - she stayed for five hours - Good job I love her to bits :rotfl:FIL was watching Football all day and she was going cuckoo - I can relate to that :D
DH took her home at 7:30 by which time the Beef was cooked but no veg so we ended up with roast beef, mash and peas - not what I planned but still nice.
All the washing done and line dried and DH finally finished the front room :T
