Probably a really stupid question- How do I post the log file, It wont do a simple copy and paste?0 -
one of the buttons at the bottom left after you do the scan is save Logfile , save it to desktop or somewhere you can find it , then double click on the file and it should open in notepad. you can copy and paste from thereEx forum ambassador

When i first tried to run it it brought up a message saying" your system denied access to the rights file" followed by how to how to edit the file myself if i need to.
It scanned anyway
After this it brought up a blank notepad page and said cannot find the logfile do you want to create a new one.0 -
yes , just do a fresh one and save to desktop , it will appear on your main PC screenEx forum ambassador

It doesn't give me an option where to save it- if I say yes it just brings up the blank notepad again. If I say no it brings up a blank notepad again.0

don't worry , it was just "belt and braces"

I assume there are no "warnings" coming up now ??Ex forum ambassador

No nothing comes up now, it isn't doing anything unusual at all. Just very wary with it being so new.
I'm quite surprised how it got infected, any idea how to prevent something like this happening? It came with Mcafee installed- which I know isn't everyones favourite - and it also has the obvious windows defender type protection. Is there anything else I should add in/replace?0 -
