Don't shoot me down but I think that the continuous e-mails and phone calls to Tesco about non acceptance of other companies conditional spend coupons is not going to help.

This is not a right but a concession by them to get you into the store to spend more money. I can understand the frustration when individual stores won't take them but once they make a national ruling to refuse a particular coupon, I think everyone just has to accept it.

As with mocs that we used to spend as cash, good while it lasted but no reason that it should be for ever.

I think that you will shortly find that Tesco will stop taking any conditional spend coupons, other than their own, if there are too many complaints.

    Any comments from anyone?
T seem to me to be stopping coupons/spend and save little by little so makes me wonder if eventually they won't accept much at all and I think customer service have been told not to be so sympathetic but also think that all of these e-mails directly to Sir T rather than customer service are having the opposite effect as his team are busy dealing with the e-mails when it should be customer service.
I noticed today when i went in that my store was virtually empty, only a few people and then not buying much and was told by Sa it has been very quiet since stopping FF and then the new Asda policy of price checking
She said that it has been noticed and that the store manager isn't very happy as takings are down by quite a lot since this crack down on coupons  bless:D

did my 'big' shop there this week to get he wine discount -shame the 5p off petrol didn't start earlier in the week but pleased with the wine savings - and only went to T as I have a till spit for £3 off £20 spend - got another one too for next week. I enjoy going to the different stores and find the shopping experince in Asda Sains much better as I am not trying to dodge out of the way of the staff who are pushing those huge internet trolleys and nearly run me over!!!!or the ones who stand 2/3 abreast blocking the aisles talking and look at me daggers when I politely ask them to 'excuse me' and let me through

Let's hope they learn a lesson or two from these empty stores. I've just been planning my shopping trip for tomorrow and I'm not even considering Tesco as one of my stops. Their loss not mine!!! I'll still get good deals on the things I want from Asda and Sainsbury's.;)

Forgot to mention that I noticed that there was a sandwich board type thing outside T's saying that Sainsbury conditional spends were accepted and after Lidl being stopped its something to keep in mind. Are S going to release some BTW, does anybody think?

I had 4 arrive a couple of weeks ago £4 off a £20 spend! :j One for each week, 2 to go!
