i dont know whether to keep trying or give up.

1st time bloke asked wen i was offered the deal and said that he would look it up. i said last tuesday. he then says nothing on my account and says that unfortunatley if u miss the call thats it really. its hard luck!

next bloke i spoke to, as soon as i explained the offer he took my details to look at my account and then hung up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so do i try again or not?????? wud really like the deal.

also does it matter that im still in contract with them with my sky+ for another 6 months?

    Yes

    Free HD+ box
    free install
    free 12 months hd subscription

Nothing extra to pay. Monthly bill payments stay the same unless you take out multi-room which is £10 per month

Cancel HD after 12 months then revert back to non-hd sky

    Ring 08442 411 442 then press 0

tell them skyn rang you offering the above deal but you were out so they left a message but have not got back to you

Just tried that, held on wait for a long time, expecting to be caught out, but yipee theyre coming in April to install.

    Many thanks, Cruz99, :j
  • I'm positively annoyed with Sky. I have been a customer of theirs for years. Me & my family went away for a week, came back and found our Box had ceased to work (no power & tried new leads). The box was beyond repair. Sky offered me a HD Box for £29 and Installation for £30. This was 2 weeks ago and they said this was the best they could do.

To find out that they have been offering all of the above for free, and for some time, makes me angry. I feel like jacking Sky in completely!!!!

    Grrr.....
Rang them up, asked about these "Offers" but refused to budge on what they offered me.

Luckily, A friend of mine still has a Sky+ box I gave him 2 yrs ago which he's giving me back. Arranged with Sky for them to recollect HD box and refund my £59 as I was dissatisfied with their treatment of an existing customer.
