So im not sure that you can cancel after the free 12 months!!?? Or do you mean cancel after the contracted following 12 months!?!

The 12 free months is the only contracted length of time, i double checked and was told that at the end of the 12 free monthes I could cancel.

Just on the phone to them atm, said left answer machine message blah blah, guy said need a code, have advised didn't leave one. Wouldn't give it too me, even though admitted other customers have had it, on phone to cancellations dept atm.

Okay - apparently the offer finished, yeah yeah, however the threat to cancel worked and they coming Monday Free Box - Instalation - 12 Months Subs... cheers op xx

I phoned Monday and was offered free box, £30 installation charge and £10 pm subscription I ended up cancelling sky altogether. Thought I would have another try after reading everyones succcess stories so just phoned again and said that someone had called me and offered free box, free installation and 12 month free subscription, went to check as no notes had been made on my account but could see that someone had re-activated my account, he spoke to his supervisor and its coming a week on Sunday:T Thanks to OP and everyone else for your comments.

Ahhhh I see!!
Sorry.... Its just I got told, when I got mine and he was reading the terms and conditions, that a 12 month payable contract will follow this free one!
I thought it was thier way of guarenteeing me for another 2 years, throw in the freebies and they got me hooked in! lol.

Dialed 08442 411 442 and press 0 as its automated told them they talked to my parther earlier today but she couldnt accept the order as the account wasnt in her name, within 5 mins got accepted 12 months free, free box and free install, comming wed the 31st

Sorry Tobykim, but as I was told by Sky sales, this is only being offered to a certain amount of people and its very much a lottery. The real culprit ruining it for the rest of us is Sky themselves. Maybe they should treat ALL of their existing customers with a little respect and make the same offer open to all.

I wouldn't call them up I'll wait, if I get a call so be it, but if I don't it's no great shakes, happy with sky+, my point was that people should wait until they are called, I remember someone trying for an offer like this, and had nothing but trouble with the box after, I believe all good things come to those that wait, and if not then it wasn't meant to be
