Lucky you :j I was happy to see 20p
Last 4 days, the lat few always seem the longest and the hardest, but will soon go.
Stage 2 of major project starting here and really can't be bothered, would much rather be on MSE, or soaking in a nice bath - I can't remember wh managed the laptop in the bath but I would look like this  after I dropped it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Good morning Hypno et al.
Done my scratchies too, highlight was 25p.
Stuck to the diet and exercise yesterday, so hopefully will do so again today.
Unfortunately washing was done yesterday, so pile of ironing waiting this morningMight try and get it done out of the way quickly, rather than putting it off for longer, and stretching out the dread
Got up to the withdrawal limit on 2 out of the 3 free bingo sites I play on which are UK only deposit/withdrawals, so hopefully can withdraw when back in the UK. But won't count the cash until it's safely in my account.
No other news.
So hope everyone has a good day, especially the dieters and exercisers0 -
Morning all. Nearly there Hypno.
As the end of the tax year is now so close, with the last working day on Thursday, is there still a lot you can do for clients, or is it winding down this week?

sleeping was not great, and I ache, particularly down one side, today, so I think I slept awkwardly. The cat also decided to make an appearance - she can go out tonight because she was nothing short of a PITA.....but I really couldn't be bothered to get out of bed and put her outside
So it really is my fault, this one!
There is still plenty of work to be done, V - no winding down here.....although I think we would all welcome it! But I can't complain about business being good, or about us being busy because that is what pays my wages
se and pippa, I can't remember the last time I had a £5 payout - I seemed to get a fair few in the olden days, but times have changed! I am most grateful for them when they make their rare appearances!
Have kept within my points and tracked everything this week, but the scales at home are telling me that I have put on......I'm not bothered as such, because Wednesday is WI day, but I need to stay focused and not let it get to me and say s*d it! This type of thing is my "danger zone", when really I must remind myself that I am not likely to lose weight every single week, and that if my diet is becoming healthier, then so am I, and that is as important if not more so!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I know that's one thing it took me a while to learn about dieting, so now I tend to take it a day at a time, or even a meal at a time, occasional blips will happen, the main thing is not to say this ruins the day/week whatever and give up, it only makes things worse for the day/week .
Also diets do plateau, so sometimes tweaking is necessary to keep things going, any ideas for some tweaking, I think mine needs tweaking too0 -
I think I'm going to have to pay serious attention to my diet for only the 2nd time in my life - I only have two pairs of jeans that fit me, and jeans are what I wear every day
as substitute for rolleyes smiley

se, if you have reached a plateau, try doing something completely different. Often its because we eat the same thing day in day out, or the same amounts of stuff, and our bodies start to get used to it so ease off on the old metabolism front.
So, if you are getting all your calories from carbs, say, reduce them and up the protein, or vice versa....give your body a bit of a surprise, and it will work harder.
Similarly, eat more one day, and less the next.....as long as overall in the course of the week the cals even themselves out, you can keep your metabolism guessing by varying the amount.....google the Wendy plan, (sometimes spelt Wendi) for the WW version of this which I think really does work.
Other things which I find help when I reach a plateau is to find a new for of exercise, eg skipping, or to drink more water (never drink enough, so always a sure fire way of getting things shifted again). Both of which i am likely to be trying over the next week or so!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Good afternoon hypno and friends! I really need to log in more often - not only are your money saving tips great but I'm loving the foody tips too. I've been carp today - half an easter egg does not constitute a healthy diet. On a positive note at least it was only half of the egg and it was a small one. The problem is it's the end of the month so we have very little food in the house. I am sure I could have found something healthier than an easter egg though:rotfl:.
Pay day tomorrow so big food shop and time to do the accounts. At least I'll feel rich for about half an hour before I work out what has to come out!
All this talk of boots cards I'm sure I've got one somewhere. Must find it!
Only three and a half days now until you're not working! Yeahhhh! xx0
