I am sure I could have found something healthier than an easter egg though:rotfl:.

Just because you *could have* found something healthier, wouldn't have made it the right choice. I've got two clementines sat on my desk. 0.5 points for the two.

A colleague comes in and offers me 2 chocolate hob nobs......3.5 points for the two......

Guess which I opted for :o:D:p

Well, in your defence, there is a little known enzyme called the, erm..., er...., LKenzyme which is only found in chocolate hob nobs and it eats up all your fat!

(disclaimer - all you science bods out there won't have heard of it because it's a very exclusive enzyme only ever heard of by me! If anyone else wants to believe in it too then feel free but don't blame me if the scales start to move in the wrong direction:rotfl:)

All this talk of boots cards I'm sure I've got one somewhere. Must find it!

Mine was stolen with my purse, I contacted customer services through the website, and they've organised a replacement card and moved my points onto it. You need to give basic name & address details.

My local boots store was one of the ones to take part in the pilot scheme for the points.......DD was a baby at the time, and Boots very generously gave us 10 points per £1 :T

Sadly, they realised that 10 points was rather too much to be giving away, so they reduced it to 4, when they rolled the scheme out properly.....but all that time I was buying baby stuff, I was doing rather well :D

Decided to follow some of your advice Hypno, so a bit of a Wendy tonight, going to have a glass of red wine and some chicken in pepper/onion/tomato garlic sauce with gnocchi.

Also going to up the protein and lower the carb from tomorrow, spotted smoked salmon on offer, so scrambled egg & smoked salmon for brekkie this week. Well I've stuck to this diet since 1st Jan, and not really bought anything special for it, so I think I'm allowed a occasional treat. Will try to tweak the rest of the diet this week to slightly higher protein and lower carb too. But one night will have to do pasta with smoked salmon & cream for OH, as it's one of his favorites.

    Thanks for the ideas Hypno.

Been catching up and went to have a search in my make up drawer.

Question - I never bother with use by dates for make up, if I did I would be forever throwing the stuff away as don't use a lot, BUT - when was Amway really popular??? I went to a 'colouring' party and bought some Artistry stuff and its still in my drawer. I think it was late 90's:eek:Probably time to chuck it
I was horrified to read somewhere that a 'portion' of pasta is just a handful! Same for meat and chicken ... and I thought I'd been doing really well.

gilligansyle - I too threw away some Artistry stuff :o Mine were from the early 90s I am sure :rotfl:

Se, good luck with the diet changes. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs is one of my absolute faves.......I use the smoked salmon trimmings 88p for 100g from most big supermarkets, which make a perfectly acceptable brekkie or pasta dish :D

Day one of the week done.....three more to go.

Have a good evening, everyone x
