I'm at the half way point - I have lost a stone and have another to lose.....I don't want to creep back up, but if I lose a couple of lbs this week I will def feel I am on the way to where I want to be.

The stone that I have already lost has made a big difference in itself - in the way that I feel, the way that I look (clothes are fitting me so much better, rather than "pulling" across my thighs!) and I have had some very positive comments from colleagues who have noticed the difference.

    So.....blubber be gone :D

morning all! quick fly by as on a typing deadline...

I'm also trying to lose weight, am a stone heavier than my usual weight at the min. However, too much going on for me to be able to have any self-control! I do well for a day, then back to square one. Thankfully I usually eat healthily, it's the odd crisps and sweets which ruin me!

I've got a pedometer, but the bloomin thing has stopped working; it records about one in every five steps - not good!

Good luck on sticking to the diets all! I'm not overweight but I am lazy and unfit and need to tone up so I'm starting walking today. Also I have realised that I've been spending far too much time alone in my flat and getting out will bring me back up to my usual cheery self! LOVE my flat and my own company but deffo need to get out more. I do have a fab social life but get 1/2 days off in the week and these are usually spend alone as my friends are all at work. This stops today X

Souk, I also like my own space, nothing wrong with that in my view. The week is usually so busy working etc , seeing customers and so forth, then the weekend is full of chores, making it nice for dd, perhaps seeing a friend or two. When i have my own space like right now, I enjoy it. Off to work out and about now though.

Well done with the weight loss Hypno. Thats great news. I think worry is effecting me at the mo. Im not going to SW anymored to save the money, but even though Im eating, my clothes are much looser!!! If you have a chance your view on a situation Im in at the mo would be v appreciated - in my diary. I trust your judgement totally. I think Ive made my mind up for the time being, until next month anyway. Its all such little steps to that ultimate goal of df. And then we have no heating at mo, the hot water is being heated up by the immersion in the airing cupboard temporarily as it transpires the fan in my boiler needs replacing making a £210 bill. I haven't got it right now, at least an angel is out there ensuring it breaks down if it has to in the spring/summer and not the winter!!! So, we are doing without for the moment! Anyway, take care
My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T

PAF, hugs to you on the heating situation - your DD is quite little, isn't she? As you say, a *very* good job it didn't happen a month ago.
