  • Hypno, I have bought a pedometer and I am staggered at what I do in a normal working day. 20,000 steps by 4pm each day this week, that does include dog walking and I do have quite a physical job.

I never used to think I was worth an expensive haircut and colour (mine is between £55 - £75 depending if I have foils in) and didn't bother for years when the kids were little then I dislocated my knee and was houseound and depressed for 3months so my friend took me to her salon - which is now my salon - and ive never looked back! you will come out feeling a million dollars - thats worth any amount in my books - I always get in at least 3 magazines and 2/3 cups of coffee so feel I can knock £10 of the price in freebies :)

    enjoy every minute cgx

I am def looking forward to it, and really hope it makes me feel good.

another matched bet qualifier placed for this evening's football - rubbish odds, but should still get a couple of quid from it, which is better than nothing.

Stir fry veggies and pork for dinner - need to get that weight off!! If any of you see me sneaking in a bar of chocolate or pack of crisps over the next week, you have permission to slap me hard!

Not sure why Hypno, but I think the blubbers been creeping back here too, got to try to get back on track.

It's been since the Easter break it's been more difficult.

I was alright immediately after last weeks weigh in for a couple of days. Then it would have been my dad's birthday so I ate my bodyweight in sugar.....then I went drinking......and ate chips.....and crisps.....then at the weekend I was in so much pain I ended up ordering a takeaway because they delivered.....and I went out for lunch on Monday.....and so on and so forth.

So, hardly surprising a bit went back on, really, so at least I can answer the question "why?"!

So I am back in control, and am determined, just for today, to stay that way!

Evening - have finally been given permission (its a long story!) to put mums bungalow on the market :j:T:j:T

Hands really hurt today and right wrist - don;t think I've broken anything although its a bit imflammed and my back is really sore after going to the osteopath :o

Glad you are feeling a bit better Hypno and have a lovely hair experience on Saturday.

After having realised on Saturday that nothing fitted and that I had put on a stone in weight since Christmas, I've been really good this week so far - real incentive as its my Silver Wedding in three weeks time and whilst our party is not till July I would like to weigh less !!!! Although it will never be what I weighed when i got married :rotfl:

Well must dash - got a whole list of things to do and have to be at the Pool at 6am tomorrow morning!

Don't know if she weighs the same, but my sister can still get into her wedding dress, and she got married the same year as Charles and Di. I can't even get my bridesmaid dress over my hips let alone fasten it up.
I'm very good at meals, its the slice of home made bread while the kettle boils that does for me.

My goal weight was 9st 5 but I will be happy enough to be just under 10 stone.....I did get below 9st again after DS was born but that was just unsustainable for me.
