After the length of time it took to get my neck/back sorted after my car accident, I too have learned that I shouldn't put up with pain for as long without getting it looked at. It's early days yet, though, and I have plenty of painkillers, so will give it a chance to settle of its own accord but promise I will get it looked at if need be to get some physio or something.

    Thank you for caring :)

I know you are very knowledgeable about these things, which I suppose comes from all the inevitable ski incidents, but taking the pressure off the neck muscles for even 15 minutes during the day can make such a difference. So if you have an office and can lie down for a bit at lunchtime, I would recommend it. And in my experience, even if someone comes to see me when this happens, they just assume I am not there when I am not sat at my desk and leave me in peace!

Hope the pain eases soon x

They have ordered me a new chair at work today - that will help too. No chance to lay down though - my office is matchbox size!! But I could easily do that at home from time to time so will give it a try, thank you!!

I'm in the camp that thinks you could do with seeing a Dr with the neck pain..painkillers are only masking the problem.
