Well it didn't start off too well, in that I slept terribly due to the pain in my neck after my fall.....but eventually with more painkillers I got a couple of hours, so will dose myself up during the day and hope for the best.
Today DS is playing football away so that will take us up until lunchtime, then I will probably do very little for the rest of the day apart from sort out my IKEA shopping - I bought some fab storage stuff so I can continue the decluttering and organisation of this place.
The sun is shining, though, so whatever I am doing, it will be a sunny one - always makes a difference!
Off to scratch now - hope the sun is shining wherever you are!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
well done hypno on a fab day, just what the doctor ordered, and of course to DS and Norwich....i do love norfolk, but have never muched around Norwich....

Around the Pennines Savingmore. At first I thought it was muck, but lots of cars are covered in a brownish coloured dust - so I reckon that must be it!0

I wouldn't even notice a bit of additional dust around hereSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Good morning
The sun is shining here.
Scratchies done.
Yesterday was a rightmove day, and the plan is the same for today. Hopefully we'll have a short enough 'shortlist' by then, so can start planning viewings.
Can't wait to get back to sort out my clothes and househunt and lots of other things, going to be very busy.
No other news here.
Hope the football goes well Hypno.
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Morning chaps, a bit overcast here but no ash.

DS was offered a lift to the football, so I have my morning to do other things now!
DD is going to help me with housework for a couple of hours from 10....for which I will pay her. She does a very good job once she gets stuck in, so in 2 hours I reckon we can do quite a lot and make a big difference. Then this afternoon we can take it easy a bit, although the washing and ironing will be ongoing.
I also want to start as I mean to go on, and do at least a couple of hour's "proper" work this afternoon.....in the new officeI am now online up there, and have installed Microsoft Office, so I have no excuses.
So....aiming for a productive day now....but there is time for a (decaf) coffee first of course!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
That's a great relief that DS got a lift freeing your time up.
Good idea DD helping you as you'll get loads done.
Good luck with proper work.0 -
Hurray for the lift for DS - not so sure about filling the newly-available time with housework, tho
:rotfl: especially in light of the *very* bad sleep. Still, ever the energetic one!
Se - on Martin's recommendation, I also use https://www.globrix.com to look for houses - its got the same map search facility as rightmove, and I have found a few estate agents in my area use it and not rightmove. Iknow its extra work _pale_:coffee:
I've decided to check properties daily now - you can get them all on one single map, don't have to trawl through a list, so if you're like me and looking at a small area, its peachy. I know you're looking at a huge area tho - and if you find any good property !!!!!!, post the link:):)

Tried to post another rightmove one, and the link won't work0
