As for the take away leaflets, etc, you can try putting a polite notice next to your letterbox, some will follow that (although others just blatantly ignore it).

You could also try getting a very large dog. That puts off most people :p

    if it is voted through
i expect it will be as there are enough idiots in RM to see £££ before common sense
plus the agreement is slanted heavily against delivery posties
so those working indoors will see it as an easy deal and vote yes
later when indoor jobs are under threat, delivery wont be interested
    divide and conquer

You can do that but you are wasting your time

They ignore official notices so unofficial ones wont make any difference

Although not via the postman,we must get 8+ different Pizza leaflets each week through the door, and over the last 2 weeks we must have had 10 different 'bags for clothes' of course non of them are charities just companys who claim to donate £10,000 per year from sales

the clothes bags go in the bin - filled with rubbish - i get about 4 or 5 of these bags in an average week!! and as a result have not bought bin bags since before christmas!!
Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"
  • personally - the junk mail must keep the royal mail in work! apart from bills I doubt that i get 'real' letters more than once a month! and what has happened to the nice free pens I used to get in my junk mail??? i have to buy pens now!

it costs them more to post them due to RM's size and proportion pricing
