Thanks for the encouragement about the lodger. Well good news on that front I spoke to a really lovely girl tonight who has also recently split with her boyfriend. She is coming to see the house Tuesday so fingers crossed:j:j

Hi Babysteps!
I used to cycle to work (only 5 miles there, 5 miles back, and all flat!) but like you suggested I only did it 3 times per week or so, and I really enjoyed it! I really miss it now! Good luck with it, give yourself plenty of time on the first few runs.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the support. Well my potential new lodger came around to look today. She seemed really nice and we got on well so I'm hopefull she might decide to go for it. She is going to give me a call at the weekend so you never know I might have sorted the lodger problem.
I get paid at the end of this week so nearly time to sort the monthly figures. Not done to bad this month I don't think, evven with my slightly excessive spending.:DMortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640 -
Good luck on the lodger situation, sounds like it will be great for you.0

Hey guys,
Well no news on the lodger front which is a bit of a shame, she might still call but will have to wait and see. Anyway the end of the month is here so time to report the monthly figures.
Mortgage – 162,150.68
CC (0%) – Oct 856.62, Nov 2215.01, Dec 2964.59, Jan 3565.95
Savings – Oct 901.51, Nov 1730.10, Dec 2975.84, Jan 3915.26
Net amount owed – Oct 162,105.79, Nov 162,635.59, 162139.43
Month change – Oct -44.89, Nov +529.80, -496.16, - 338.06
Overall change – Oct – 44.89, Nov +484.91, -11.25, -349.31
Well at least its going down now so moving in the right direction, onwards and downwards.
So for the next couple of months this should be helped by not paying council tax. I also had a water bill through and am in credit by £35 so they have reduced the direct debit by £11 for the next few months, every little helps:p
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.
