And your missing the point....i didnt train as a"metallurgist" but i do have 23 years of experience of what usually does and doesnt happen.

Your cleverly worded posts mean nothing, because its clear that you think you know more than me...typical student!

Knowledge of what usually happens is probably what the kwik fit fitter had, its usually ok to torque the hell out of customers cars with air guns, what happened here is the unusual, that does not make it either impossible or unlikely.

I have always been a "student" I suppose and always will be, always more to learn but rest assured I am very old and very experienced, if you read back it was you that asked me to explain this, i thought it was a discussion i don't know why you preferred an argument.

If there is no fundamental issue that you are unsure about then I'm out, but if you are dealing with customers cars this is an issue you should look into.

By use of the word "student", i meant that you have no experience in the field...and its clear that you dont!

No argument from me.....you explained your point and i explained mine.
    Sorry :) :money:

No, as you requested I have explained to you how it happens.

There is no further point, you are a random on a website at 1am and whilst I would prefer to be in bed there are still other matters I need to be clearing up but whether you believe in physics is of no concern to me or the OP.

Why is it people on this forum just want to incite trouble from the word go? The OP posted on this thread for some advice. It does not matter if you believe the OP or not, thats not the point. The OP wants advice, if no one wants to answer the question then move on, ignore the post.

Why is everyone so quick to judge everyone? Are your lives really that sad that you take pleasure in insulting people.

Here's my advice; if you wouldn't say it to someone's face then don't say it at all!!!

what you on about? and yes i'd say it to the OP's face i'm straight to the point with people and if i think something is wrong i will say it and i'm respected by people who know me for it. i'm one of those people that will say whats on their mind rather than not saying anything!

we make judgements in life about everything includeing people we know or dont know ITS WHAT MAKE US LESS GULLABLE IN LIFE AND NOT TO BE TAKEN IN BY LIES!. ;)

we are all guilty for judgeing someone or something because we are all makeing judgements about everything. ;)

like you have just judged me in your mind whilst reading this post fo e.g but rather than not saying anything i will say it like i just have:p

Your basing that on the assmuption that at least 4 studs would let go simultaneously.......i'm afraid the odds of that happening are greater than winning the lottery.
