General savings really. I'd like to leave my job asap because it's making me ill and I don't think I can benefit from it any further without being used even more than I am now.
Eventually a house deposit I guess

I work in retail and I HATE it. I've been with this employer 2 and half years now and I worked in retail in for a large store with a dog and a sheep for a year too. It's just not for me and I'm starting to hate it more and more.
Yeah, well I'm going to do an HND but it's at the same college I was at before (it's massive and has a FE and an HE part) so still stuck at home, still stuck in the same job.
I don't really need three months salary, because I don't spend all of it on necessary expenses. I have approx £200 coming in September, plus my student loans so would be fine till about Christmas.
There's a possibility of another job but it's all a bit up in the air at the moment. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Well no further job news. I went back to my retail job, caught a stinking cold, panicked and have phoned in sick since - because of my op I really can't have any sort of cold/illness so I've been in hiding since
I got my A Level results, really pleased, got much better than I expected. Cue the usual 'so why aren't you going to uni?' lectures from people, I wish people would stop going on. You don't have to go the traditional uni route to get a job! Far from it for many!
Moneywise, all going okay, get paid next Friday but am in hospital next week so I've spoken to my bank and let them know there might be issues with pay but I can't sort it and they've extended my OD a bit to lessen the stress on me.
Have been very good, not spent apart from my birthday money from my mum and brother (£15 each) plus about £5(I always get my birthday money in July/August because October always feels too close to Christmas).
I've bought a Singstar game for the PS2 and a Fossil Watch (£22 down from £55!) so very happy with that.
That's about it!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

If I had my time again, I'd get a job after A-levels.

I'm looking to do both ZTD
The job is with this fantastic project which is related to schools and young people. I can't really say anymore but it'll be big news in Feb hopefully when it launches. I get to meet Charlie :eek:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
So I'm all done with the ortho op, feeling loads better already although if you saw my face you'd probably think I was a size 20+ person as my cheeks are massive.
Not convinced I'm going to be paid properly next week, I confused matters by going back but I think as it was a connected spell of sickness there shouldn't be any waiting days. So it'll be three weeks SSP and one week normal pay (plus Sunday premium), so about £300 which will be fine since I can't go anywhere anyway! Even banned from driving for a month, booo.
Got my final student loan assessment amounts so will be paying parents £600 per term instead of £150 per month because the joint account could do with that float (dad's usually paid by cheque which can cause problems around mortgage time!). The rest is going into savings but might be used for a car and then paid back, depends what I see.
Got to wait for an assessment date for DSA which means a trip to Plymouth and will be combining that with a shopping trip so saving upGot £70 so far.
Also, because I have the bigger car now my car insurance won't be going down this year (:() so it's £400 and I'll have £300 by October, so need to find £100 sharpish. Should be fairly easy with MB.

Update on the old Christmas shopping, Dad is pretty much done (all but £2.10 - what can I get for that? Hmmm). I've got him:
Men in Black 1&2 DVD set,
Spiderman 2 Boxset,
3 x Dire Straits CDs,
Hunt for Red October DVD.
RRPS = £107.94 , Actual spend = £17.90 :j :j
