Gem how was the shopping in bristol?0

Ace thanks PAP, love Cribbs! We have nothing like it here. Plymouth has a mini version I guess but even that's pretty new.
Got my dad's final bit of his Xmas present but let him have it early. a fleece from M&S for £5 so we went halves.
And I finally found a coat in H&M! Been looking for one since April. And it'll last me years so very good shopping
Plus, neither one of my parents spent any money. We took lunch, drinks, everything! Before a trip to Plymouth would cost at least £30 just in food and drinks through the day! So that's a step forward for sure.
Also, dad's potentially got an extra job. Doing deliveries, I found the idea on here and it turned out that locally they are desperate for someone! :j He can do it evenings and around his other job because the hours are so flexible and he can do extra the weeks the weather is bad going into the winter so his wages shouldn't drop too much.
Woah I'm rambley today :rotfl: Also, I think I've decided to change degrees well from an HND to a degree really, but I still don't know what's happening with this job which is driving me up the wall!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Everything PAP
I'm so stressed over which course, which way to study and then I think I've decided and I think of another personal/health/social/financial reason why I should/shouldn't :mad:
I thought the interview today at the uni would help me decide but it's confused me moreNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Yup, was going to do the OU but it's too slow and the guy totally lied about how long it would take so I'm off to uni full-time (well it's a day and a half).
In about two weeks :rotfl: It's a BA(Hons) in Community and Youth Work so I can get JNC qualified, which is necessary for working with young people from 2010 so I need to do it.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Thought I'd do a quick update before I skedaddle off for a while.
I'm now a studentNot liking the student life to be perfectly honest, glad I'm living at home and commuting.
I'm totally skint beyond belief because I'm still only on sick pay and still nothing has been sorted with new job so I'm in limbo at the moment and not sure what to do.
Debt will be cleared by next week as my student loan hits my account, so that's that.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
One debt down, one to go
Wasn't able to pay both off as I've lent my brother £1500 because it was costing him 30% in interest!!!!!!!!
So I now owe £943.14
Other news, haven't been able to buy a new car because I've also lent my parents money too, so I now have to insure this car, which is going to be about £500, I have £300 so £200 needed by 27th of this month at the absolute latest.
Matched betting here I come....!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Am talking to myself but like to have a log of happenings so...
Debt - £893.14 (car)
Owed to me - £1338 (lent to brother)
Spends for month - £46.48 remaining (but might need to last all of November, as wages are unknown at this point)
Savings - £110 holiday (£50 owed back to it), £19.96 general savings (so much owed back...£150+ I think, need to check), £102.05 ISA
So all in all, not bad at all, wish I could save like PAP though. I keep dipping into it that's the problem but I don't think I've spent that much, it's just my incomes been so low because of being on SSP.
Also got my car insurance for £266.47 :j (current insurer wanted £551!) via phone call from one of the companies I got an online quote from! So got breakdown cover too for £38.75 out of the money I had saved. Quite chuffed, so am keeping Cali (that's my car) for a bit longerNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130
