    [strike]Maths question -

Parent have been saving £26.50 per month to make £319 (well it's £318 but still), which they owe me in a 7% regular saver. It matures on 5th July.
But there's more money than just mine in the saver, so how do I work out how much interest is mine?[/strike]

Never mind whatsthecost.com told me :)

    Total idiot moment!

Just logged into Mum's betfair account to withdraw the £13.75 that was in there and thought, I wonder if I left any in mine ...

    There's £105.66 in there!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

Anywhoo, withdrawn it so that's a bit more off the car. Plus the £9-something I have coming from two mystery shops (phone call ones :D easy money those, wish I got more of them!)

I cannot wait for this last bit to be cleared, I'm so impatient :rotfl:

There's other things going on but not really ready to report back on them yet but will do once I've figured it all out

Well done - I keep looking in my old betting accounts hoping for cash... only ever found £5 but I do live in hope!

You've acheived a lot here though, well done, keep it up...

Well that money is going to be swallowed up :(

I had to take Saturday off work and then stupidly went in Sunday, and have now been told by the doctor to self-certify for 5 days. So I won't be paid today either :(

    July's gonna be tight

I got paid more than expected, need to check wage slip tomorrow.

But should have an extra £100 (Betfair) + £66 (Health Insurance reclaim) to put towards the car :D

Hmm well the reason my wages were so high is because I haven't had any money taken off me for being off sick.

But I should of. So I'm guessing that they'll take it next month instead, so I'll sit on the extra and see how I go for the month

Just the remainder of the car to go now :)

I'm so broke :( I am totally skint until the end of the month now and will be getting really low wages next month :( Just fingers crossed the car won't need petrol and I make it through!

In light of the diary changes, I've decided to fess up and re-jig my SOA for August - October.

I sort of bought a new car :o Well, not new new but different. I really need a car with PAS and it was killing me driving one without it.

In my defence, my current car was £2200 (minus £600 trade in on the rust bucket I had before), I got it in December 2005. I got £1500 trade in for it!

So... it has put my debt free date back and my amount back up! :( The new car was £2495 so added £995 to my debt
But, in a few years time, this new car will be able to be sold/traded in whereas my other one won't (no PAS, three door, base model). So I've turned a soon-to-be liability into more useful asset.

    Will edit SOA shortly
