This is the place where you can rant Minnie, and say all the selfish and grumpy (but totally understandable) things that you feel but couldn't say to anyone close to the situation.
You can't sort life out Mins, it'll do whatever the hell it likes! You can, however, sort yourself out and be prepared for what it throws at you. And from what I've seen, that's exactly what you've been doing!

You're not being remotely selfish Mins....it's quite natural to want to chuck your toys out of the pram when frustration brings you to the "aaaarrrrgggghhhhH" stage!
Unfortunately life is never fair.....it always chucks a curve-ball at you when you least expect or want it.....all you can do is deal with it as best you can.
And if anyone can....YOU can.
Hugs from yer gang! xx0 -
Hope you feel better Min, have just had a virtual tantrum on your behalf.
And just to really cheer you up....... DS saw Ray No. 1 in the street on Boxing Day, when I asked what he looked like DS replied 'a fat old bloke' .
Chin up hon, 2007 will be better for you and yours xxA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hullo Mins.
I hope by the time you read this you are feeling relieved of anger & frustration and things have improved.
And none of us are perfect angels, if you can't want good things for yourself in life, might as well just go and live in a cave right now and give up.
Trouble is, sometimes we can't always put ourselves first and life's a b**** for making that perfectly clear at the worst times for us on a personal level.

Back again.
And calmer.
Thanks to all who posted while I was chucking my toys out of the pram (thanks freebird - exactly the right description!). I'll blame the lack of sleep, if you don't mind (poor excuse, I know). And actually, it didn't last long. Only half an hour or so...
The past few days have been dreadfully sad. But that sad old cliche "life goes on" does apply here. As does the one about time. I suppose we all go through it/will go through it and hopefully we all have friends who can be there when we do.
I've thought about you lot over the last few days a great deal and I feel so fortunate to have had your support and kind words to think about.
The next bit involves gritting my teeth, accepting the changes and getting on with it. In fact, I'll be working harder than ever to a) get myself straight and b) make the most of what I do have. It actually seems so much more important now for a variety of reasons.
Some things are more important than a bunch of silly a*se debt collectors, aren't they? They too have a lot to learn about acceptance - in this case, they'll have to accept that I'll take my time. What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -

Glad that you're back Mins and feeling a bit calmer.
Any big event is going to have an effect on the way you think but well done you for being more determined than ever!
