            Hi LA
I've been a vegan before - it's hard at first, but soon gets to be a way of life and not too much bother at all.
Iodine is found in seaweed (I think) and I love it! Great in soups and stews as well as the more traditional sushi wrap.
The other big concern is omegas - but again, Udo's Oil and its equivalents do the job there.
It's a consideration at the moment, but I might give it a go for a while at least, although I might "phase" it in initially. What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160

Hi Minnie..good luck with the vegan thing you seem to have all angles covered and know what supplements to take0

Hi Mins. Yep iodine is in seaweedo so that's great if you are a fan/eat it regularly.
Soya milk contains Omegas 3 & 6 as well by the way so if you can incorporate that into your diet then that will help. Flaxseed oil (I don't know what Udo's is...may be the same thing!?) is also good for Omegas as well.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

            I'm just popping in quickly.
I hope those of you who celebrated had a lovely Christmas.
Sadly, things here have been less that peaceful. Without going into detail, there has been a bereavement in the family. Suddenly everything has changed for me, certainly short term (the Happy New Year has been shelved to my great distress) and the long term is looking very different to the way I had thought it might be.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to sit my exams at the moment, for example. I think I'm going to have to change a few things over the next few months which scares me and worries me.
I may not be around for a while. For those of you who can, have the best start ever to 2007. To those of you who can't, let's hold hands and hope it gets better.
Lots of love to you all.

Minnie, I'm glad to see you back but sorry it is with such unhappy news. I hope you can find your way through the next few months and can arrange something about your exams.
We'll all be thinking of you even when you're not about.
