Thank you for that lovely compliment, themaccas. I will be writing in my new job, but sadly only reports. No chance for bad jokes or singing appropriate songs. Wouldn't it be lovely to live in a land of Technicolor Hollywood musicals and burst into a song and dance routine at suitable intervals? I'll still do it in my parallel universe, however.

But there's always the next job!

There's also the issue of my orchestra. And the big band. And all the backing singers.

If you wear nice clothes & wash regularly then you'll be labelled eccentric and tolerated.

Hmmm, the band & backing singers are a bit of a problem though. I'll have to have a think about that one.
