    Parked without a permit

    Parked without a ticket

    Obstructive parking

    Overstayed free time.

Choose one from the list above.

    And then ignore them!!!:)

Taking a more serious and relevant note here, were the company who issued the parking notice the station's approved car park patrollers or are they even worse - nomadic scammers who take pictures of cars parked in private car parks on the off-chance that the owners will pay up without a query?

The fact that there was no notice attached to the screen of the car implies that this might be the case - notices stuck on screens of cars would, at the least, draw the attention of railway staff that some unauthorised person was issuing them. They may also run the risk that the car owner, when he found it, would rush in to see the station manager to complain - again bringing the authorities attention to the scam.

Maybe worth an enquiry at the station or, at least, a look round the car park to see if the company's name is listed on a car park rules notice.

Picture of a car parked awkwardly on yellow lines.:j

    The camera does not lie.;)

Of course it does , a camera takes a 'snapshot' ie it doesnt show that the car was moving .

I hope you have a good supply of shovels

They are normally the right scammers, there's a female, who stands in wait and takes pics with a digicam. What a thankless job. The last pics I saw of her she had her hands up in front of her face, just like someone who's been found guilty at the high court.

Please DNFTT. It is getting exceedingly boring.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
