I just paid £100 from Nationwide 07-44-56 sort code to LTSB and it went through straight away which surprised me.

My £5 SO out of 070116 ( to get the £75 incentive) took 3 days to reach destination on 22/3:(

Not totally true I believe..As stated in original post-and subsequently what brought this to my attention was a SO went out on the 17th as FP from my flex account which is an 07-01-16 account.
So very patchy cos mine did not work.

Did not work for me,,when transferring to ICICI bank.

I have messaged NW about when this sort code will be set up to send and receive faster payments, more than 2 days and no reply:(

as Nationwide are clearly stating on their faster payments page, you can only make Faster Payments TO your flexaccount if your sort code is 070116, not FROM.

Although Nationwide claim that 07-01-16 accounts cannot sent Faster Payments yet, I have just done one for £80.00 from an 07-01-16 account to Halifax, so it is definitely enabled for sending low amounts.

when you logged into Nationwide, did it give you a notice to tell you that you can send Faster Payments?

Edit: you're quite right, I just sent a quid and it went by faster payments!

Still, it's clear that Faster Payment send is definitely enabled for some (maybe all?) people on 070116, the only question remaining is what the limit is.

so far we know it's over 80 which means it's possibly £250
