This was the first to have ability to receive Faster Payments. The current limit for this sort code is £250.

Just set up my 07-01-16 account under the alternate sort code 07-44-56 to receive a test payment and it does work as a faster payment!

If your sort code is 07-01-16 then it isn't enabled as such for sending / receiving.

Not totally true I believe..As stated in original post-and subsequently what brought this to my attention was a SO went out on the 17th as FP from my flex account which is an 07-01-16 account.
  • Glad to see Nationwide finnaly getting this sorted. Does anyone have know a timescale of when the 07-01-16 accounts are going to be fully working with the FPS?

Even the newer 07-02-46 accounts, which have been FP-enabled for some time (first £10 now £250 limit) aren't fully working as per the FP scheme plans, although my new 07-02-46 one is certainly slightly more useful than my long standing 07-01-16.
  • They charged me £8 for a mini-statment! !!!!!! is up with that?
  • Oh and when i asked them why they stated that they had to print a bigger statement for me!!

    What a load of bull!
