    I am absolutely gutted. We completed 2 weeks ago and were originally contemplating completing on April 1st! Stamp duty was by far the biggest cost for us and its just gone into the government's pcoket. I'm so annoyed that there wasn't any talk of this before - we certainly would have delayed completing if there had been
  • Write to your MP (writetothem.com) and join the Facebook group 'Stamp Duty - Budget 2010'. There must be thousands of first time buyers affected by this - if everyone kicks up enough of a fuss the government just might listen, especially with an election around the corner
