Good morning everyone, and Happy Birthday to Snoozer and a Happy Belated Birthday to Tru.

Happy St Patrick's Day to all who celebrate it.

MSD - hope you are OK?

Sunny Day - let's hope today is better for you than yesterday, or at least a bit less wet!

Redruby - hope you are settled into your new house by now (says she who still has things in boxes since she moved in almost a whole year ago!)

We have a beautiful day here again. Wall to wall sunshine, sparkling blue skies and getting really warm. I had to search the house to find enough washing to make up a load - this drying weather is too good to waste!

Dinner tonight will be a chicken casserole. DH is working but I'm not sure what time he'll be home, so a casserole can be kept warm. It's very moneysaving because I'm using veggies that are at that bendy stage, and a chicken carcass; since I've started buying and jointing whole chickens rather than buying pieces, I'm always amazed by how much further I can make a chicken stretch.

Anyway, I have some chores to do and then some work, so I'd better get a wiggle on.

    Have a great day, everyone.

    KathyXX

Just read your post, Haribo - I too, want to send (((hugs))) to Smoky and her family today.

    Morning everyone!

Hope you're all well? Happy Paddy's Day to all that celebrate it.

I'm off work just now with a cold/throat infection thing. Swallowing is difficult, so my morning cuppa isn't going down too well :(

It's been wet here overnight, but it's blue skies just now. Not too sure how long that will last for, as last night's forecast wasn't the best. Never mind, got all the washing up to date yesterday and it was a good drying day, so the tumbler didn't go on once.

Lunch will be soup and a sarnie, and I'm not sure what I'll make for dinner yet, will see how the day goes. DH is planning on doing the cleaning as he's off to Glasgow for another MRI scan tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone and birthday wishes to those that are celebrating. Hugs to everyone who needs one.

    Morning all,
Had a really busy evening – went to see the financial advisor – everything is go for the mortgage (hurrah!) but it was quite late when we got out. I’d parked in an out of town carpark and OH picked me up (to save paying to park 2 cars in town), then when we got back to the cars the smell of pizza was just to much, so we got a takeaway. Saved £1.10 but spent £12.99. Not very OS at all! Oh dear… Anyway, I was just pulling out of the carpark and my car died. Completely. Didn’t stutter or anything. It just sort of stopped. And it wouldn’t start for ages. But then it did and it was fine again. Really weird. Hopefully it won’t do it again as don’t really want to shell out for car repairs right now!
OS today – leftover pizza from last night for my lunch. Making last night’s planned dinner tonight (pie, mash and veg). That’s about it. Not good. Really need to make some more mince pies (I refuse to move house with half a jar of mincemeat!), but not sure I’ll manage that tonight as we’re viewing two more houses.
    Hugs to all,
    Gxx

    Morning all ,

Happy birthday snoozer :bdaycake: have a great day!!
    Get well soon nesssie1702

GIVE ME STRENGTH!!!!!!!!!! Is it possible to start a day peed off?! I've just walked into work and there is a mountain of queries on one piece of work from my bosses boss which basically means, she doesn't understand any of why I said to her, despite having explained the situation to her verbally serveral times. What's the point in asking, if I'm going to tell her the answers and she's going to conveniently forget what it all means, the second I put it down in writing? I just don't know why I bother tbh. It's the sort of hassle I just don't need at the moment. Think a look around the job market might be in order today.

Did a variation on my tea last night as I didn't fancy the jacket potato, and served my cod and chorizo on spaghetti. Mmmmmm yummy . Tea tonight is going to be egg and chips as I have a feeling I'm going to be too peed off to think of anything else!

Have a lovely day, hugs to all xx

Nessie Big hugs to you too & hope you feel better soon xx

I'm not in until 11am today so I've done the Flylady list, nice & easy today as it's the bathroom & PC desk, and am just having a quick nose round on here before I make the tea.

Diva Has a lot going on with some ill friends at the moment so hasn't posted. She is ok though and sends her love to all.

Happy St Patrick's Day to those celebrating, wish I was back in Spain for today, as always lots of "free" activities, live music, etc. Next year must schedule my return after the 17th!

DS is home, WM on;), but he only brought the dirty clothes he wore at work yesterday, arrived at 12.30 this morning. DH off for hair cut. Will decide what we are eating later, will be DS's choice.

    Take care.

Morning all......................(((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))) if you need one, an especially warm one to Smokey and her family today.

Fine morning so far although the forecast is for rain later, I have a wash load in, I'll hang it out and hope for the best, I can out it on the airer if the weather turns.

Another quilting group this afternoon, looking forward to it, the atmosphere is different to the Tuesday group.

We have someone coming at lunchtime to see about changing the woodburner, we had a chap come Monday night, I asked him to send us a quote which he did yesterday, I could not believe how badly it was set out and the grammer and spelling mistakes were unbelieveable.

Yesterday I cooked beef olives, we used to have them regularly when we lived here before, but its something you do not see in England for some reason. I like to cook them the day before we eat them to allow the flavour of the sauce to develop.....looking forward to them tonight.....yummy.......

I think OH is aiming for the garden again, he has his gardening trousers on.....not sure if its the veg garden or more digging out of vinca. Hopefully I will get out tomorrow and do a bit more in the front. I am not looking forward to sorting out the two big beds out there......they are so overgrown. I need to prune the roses too see if I can get them going again, and dig out the grass that has been allowed to grow right round them.
