There is still a shortage of refining capacity. Anyone volunteering for a refinery in their backyard? That might help too........:rotfl:0

Better get the barrels, sieves, and other paraphenalia ready and make myself the 2500 litres of biodiesel we are allowed to make, duty free for personal use then. That would be enough for over 19,000 miles at 35 mpg0

And of course if you did less than 19k miles and just happened to spill the excess near someone's car and it went into their fuel tank and in a completely unrelated event they dropped some £20 notes on your drive, that'd be just great :rotfl::T0 -
Petrol prices are going up up up but I don't see a decline in cars on the road round my area! :undecided0

its hardly a surprise, most folk expected this due to country being totally fu**ed.
it must be costing folk on low wages that need to use thier car for work more than its worth to turn up for work these days. im in a lucky position where i have a company van for work, but i really feel for the ones who have to fork out extra in fuel tax to go to work. get on the dole, its all the rage these days, and the government prefer that....work permit granted!0 -

Maybe not, but fewer of those will have Tax and Insurance as time goes on, they are usually the first to fall.....
We have a lot of them in North London, but the Eastern European plates give them away........0 -

Paying 84p a litre for new veg oil just now and mixing it 50/50. Even at £1.20, averages out at £1.02 a litre.
Waste in prep just now which will bring it down to 60p.0 -

Don't worry, Alistair (Ed Balls if Liebore get back in possibly) will get you with an increase in the benefit in kind tax you are assessed on for taking the van home.
The other lot are no better, the Tories brought in the fuel price escalator, and the Lib Dums would have us all on bikes reading by candle light as they all buy into the tax us all onto the bus, train, even when there are none, or bike to stop AGW scam. Cunch of bunts the lot of them.0 -
