I would speak to the kids myself (Well I'd ask my OH to hahah) and explain it's dangerous and ask them to play near THEIR parents' homes! I'd also tell them I;d call the police if I saw them there again.

Thanks for that I have spoken to kids about it and spoken to police but they said they cant do anything. Also had a row with parents about it as they dont watch them. The fact they dont play near their own houses annoys me0 -

dont think so
Is there a charge? Ooo well you need to speak to whoeever you pay about the way they are looking after their play ground... I mean car park.
Ask what you pay for - see what's written in the lease/deed ...
And if indeed it is labelled as a car park then you should be able to ask them to deal with the problem of children playing there.0 -

I have looked into the deeds and there isnt anything in it about the kids playing in there. Looks like there is nothing I can do now0 -
Monkeymoomoo, I feel your pain. I think it's shocking that so many people say 'get a life' or my personal peeve - it's just kids being kids! Or 'where you never a child?!' It's a similar story where I live - dead end road so kids treat it like a playground, hoofing balls up and down the street and on one occasion, discharging a water pistol up my exhaust. Nice. If you're a car afficianado like me then it makes your blood boil. When I was a kid we'd play in fields/woods well away from home but these days parents are so obsessed with kiddycatchers that they don't like to let kids out of their sight so I imagine your 'secure' car park is a haven for the little blighters. As you're paying for the privilige of parking your car there then definitely complain to whoever owns the car park. I take it there's no option of putting a driveway on your house?0

To be honest I would not pay £200 to park my car because its going to get scratched when you have to park it elsewhere and I acknowledge thats going to happen and don't worry about it...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

This is the problem that once people become parents they think their child is more important than everyone else who has to share the planet and anyone who thinks differently is 'sad' miserable or needs to get a life.
What about some manners from the children to stay away from people's cars that cost thousands of pounds.
If a child gets run over in the car park it will be the drivers fault of course.
Car parks are for cars they aren't playgrounds.0
