Hi everyone
Sorry not been around today, been out - OH's birthday and we've been out for a chinese meal with a group of friends - stuffed to the gills at the moment, probably be hungry in a couple of hours.
Tixy - - hope decorating is nearly finished:)
3 Dogs - wow, your OH has done incredibly well:j. Well done on his LBM. It really is surprising how much weight you can shift if you stop or cut down on the amount of alcohol you have:)
emily - love the sound of the duck race, sounds fun:) as well as raising money for charity
washer - pics of the kittens please - hope they and mum are OK today:)
Horace - good to see you back, glad you're feeling better, the rest has probably done you a power of good:)
nicca - good luck with the shopping - I hate grocery shopping as well:(
Back laterThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Good evening all. Remember, Horace, go and see the quack tomorrow - and I am not talking about Emily's ducks, either! Washer - lovely to hear about the little puddy tats, are you keeping them? 3Dogs - your OH has done brilliantly losing all that weight. Tixy - no slacking, now, there's a kitchen to finish off! Nic and Solvent - early to bed for you pair tonight, and no arguing or I'll stop your pocket money......One life - your life - live it!0

Well we're back from slimming class and not having those chocolates paid off - I lost 3 1/2 pounds making 3 stone 8 1/2 lbs in total !! and won Slimmer of the Week so came home happy and with a big basket of fruit !!!!!:j :j :j DH lost another 1/2 pound even though he ate loads extra this week so he is 1 1/2 pounds under his target weight
So it's a tube of smarties, 2 scones (no butter), a cookie and 3 measures of whisky later for me tonight to celebrate :j :j :j :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

But Nargle I haven't had any supper yet....
3Dogs - well done!
My grocery shopping was a bit of a disaster! There must be a nuclear holocaust coming or something - and no-one told me! So I've crisps for tea and some olive oil and a bottle of beer (part of the resaearch!) and a pair of leggings.... Any recipe ideas more than welcome :rotfl:

Right - soak the crisps in the olive oil, then strain through the leggings - then throw it all away and drink the beer
Seriously, we went to Asda after slimming to get our treats and the shelves were bare there too - apart from the reduced part - we got £32 pounds worth of fresh fish and bread for £3.62 - can't be badMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Hi guys, and welcome to MSE, we're here to help! See below to learn about those horrible people that sometimes pop up, we refer to them as trolls and we're here to help you if you come across one.solventsoon wrote: »Another new page, so time for one of these

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
