Mine only has a couple of places under the European country headings. I believe you have to have the Deluxe unlock code to be able to access all of Europe...however...if you register the product with Garmin you are told you can unlock France with the code the unit came with. I have gone through this procedure but I'm stuck. I'm told I've unlocked France but I don't know what to do from here? This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

They have a base map, which pretty much means motorways and A roads, but thats all.0 -
Just checked the Comet website from the e-mail link and it's unavailable - nor does it seem to be listed on the website itself....0

They are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But at £129.990 -
Bought one of these a few weeks ago and found it quite good, but does anyone know the logic behind the route you are directed on. I have used it twice for holiday trips in the UK and both times have been baffled by the route it chose when I've checked it later. It directed me to where I wanted to go but it was a strange route both times. Thanks in advance.0

It determines router by quickest time or shortest distance, which you can select in the settings menu.
Yes I do wonder sometimes why it makes certain road decisions like take a slightly country road as opposed to a normal round but it probably is shaving time off my journey.
I truely believe everyone has got a superb deal at £99.99. I can't believe I got this almost six months ago at £99.99, done 10k miles with it and its still £99.99 or above.0 -
Now they have returned to £129.99 in Comet, has anyone spotted them at £99.99 anywhere else. I still haven't yet bought one and I was gutted they have now gone back up to £129.99.
Any ideas?
